Lol! That reminds me of "Mystery Men".

"The Blue Raja: Well, there's The Sphinx, of course.

Mr. Furious: The what?

The Blue Raja: The Sphinx.

The Shoveller: I know this guy. Big crime-fighter from down South. Big-league hitter down there.

Mr. Furious: What's his power?

The Blue Raja: Well, he's terribly mysterious.

Mr. Furious: [dismissively] That's it? That's his power? He's mysterious?

The Blue Raja: Well, TERRIBLY mysterious.

The Shoveller: Plus he can, like, cut guns in half with his mind. "

No ways!!!

God never surprises Himself. He knows the end from the beginning, before He even attempts to do something!

God could never work in such a mysterious way that even He has no clue why He did something.

I have no idea what your spiritual, religion or faith is. I don't even know if you read the Bible; however, here are a couple of quotes from the "Good Book" they may or may not answer your questions about the Almighty, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Living God that I serve, but they should enlighten you and make you wiser than you are now. These quotes are not directed at your questioning his ability or mindset, its about questioning his Authority. And I caution you to please be patient and read the entire context from which these quotes were taken.
1) Isaiah 29:16 {16 "You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, "He did not make me"? Can the pot say of the potter, "He knows nothing"? }
2) Isaiah 45: 9 {9 "Woe to him who quarrels with his Maker, to him who is but a potsherd among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, 'What are you making?' Does your work say, 'He has no hands'?}
3) Isaiah 55:8-9 {8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. 9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.}

No. He is omnipotent (all powerful) and Omnipresent (everywhere all the time) and Omniscient (all knowing about everything) - We cannot fathom the entire existence of God...it would blow our puny brains out. He knows exactly what He is doing all the time, and He also knows exactly why. We can't understand it, but that doesn't make it untrue. This is where faith comes in. We know and believe God to be all these things. And also, we know and believe that no matter what happens, He is ALWAYS in control.

Oh, that is the nicest variation I have seen for a long time.

It still falls into the same hole as the rest, but with so much more style.

Except, well... Mk 13:32? "...no-one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father..."

God does work mysteriously, but he knows all. He is always in control. People just think that they are sometimes.

Your question is paradoxical. God knows all, especially why He does things.
