Who cares? It's all just old superstition and myth.
When you die, you're just dead. The only judgement you'll get is by other people, and that won't matter to you by then.

In Dante's Paradiso there were many different levels of Heaven. But, even though some of the spirits were technically farther away from God in Paradise, they were still in Paradise, so they were incapable of feeling sad or bad.
I also saw a play called "The Bema" at an Acquire the Fire, and it was really interesting, because there was one character who was in Heaven, but he was not rewarded with a crown. All he wanted was a crown so that he could place it at the feet of Jesus, like everyone else. The whole point of the play was that we, as Christians, need to share the love of God with as many people as we can and further God's kingdom as much as possible.

Yes dear, there are two judgments.
One is for believers. Believers will be judged for faithful Christian living. This will be like a prize ceremony at the end of a game. This is truly a reward ceremony.
The other judgment is called White Throne Judgment. This is for all the unbelievers. All will be judged to eternal Hell!
Please remember, all humans violated God's Laws. All humans deserve Hell. If you accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on your behalf and submit your life to Him, you can miss Hell. Then you are a believer.
So, Believe In Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord.

Actually, it goes like this;
When Christ returns, we are all changed back into our spiritual bodies (all, good or bad, all). When that happens, folks will realize that they have eternal life, but many will "awaken" to the realization that although they are in the spiritual body, their soul is still perishable. For those with eternal life, they participate in the marriage feast.
Those who are still liable to perish, do not go to hell - Christ ushers in a 1000 year period of teaching and disipline because many did not have the opportunity to learn the truth in the flesh. This is not a second chance, it is a first chance for many, and for lots of different reasons.
It is written in Ezekiel Chapter 40 - end, that for those who are still perishable, a family member can go and help them.
After the teaching period ends, satan is loosed for a very small amount of time, to deceive those who he will, and then the judgement occurs. Those who have perishable souls at that point may make it,and they will participate in a second wedding to Christ (spiritual, of course).
Those who do not make it, follow satan into the lake of fire, and are turned to ashes from within. Gone, kaput, no more.
I think this may be what you are referring to when you say "two judgements".
As far as your "works" go, no you have that wrong. Your works make up the clothing that you will wear in your spiritual body.
Works are the only thing you can take with you, and it will be your robe. No works?
guess what: no clothing. There are more ways than one for shame.
And, if someone has no robe, what exactly do they expect they will be able to wash clean in the blood of the lamb? You see that even for all those who "make it", some will have clothing and some will be wearing bikini's if they are lucky. It should never be enough just to "make it"; you want to make it and not be living in shame for eternity, at a lower status than others. Works. That could mean a smile for someone who is down. Your words and actions go down in eternity forever. What you do, what you say, and your motives, are all vitally important to your status in the eternal government of God.

well Some here talk like they are going to stay in heaven. All believers will return to earth and the New Jerusalem will come down to the New Earth where we will be living...
Going to heaven is just where we go now until everything else comes about..
Don't confuse salvation by grace with the works that we do. Works do not save anyone and no one can be good enough..

Yes, the second is called the "Bema Seat" judgment. A good picture of this is in the movie Ben Hur after he won the chariot race. He received a crown of leaves called a "stephanos" which is a victory crown. At the beginning of chapter 4 in Revelation, you see the church casting these stephanos crowns before the throne of God.
Kaliko - Don't confuse salvation with reward. We are saved by faith and not of works--yes. But after we are saved we are rewarded for the works we do in the Spirit. ref. 1 Cor. 3

Jesus will come at the end of time to judge all human beings. This is called the parousia, His second coming. It was foretold by the angels as He ascended: "This Jesus who is taken up from you to heaven, will come in the way in which you saw Him going into heaven" (Acts 1:11).
However, those who die before the parousia will be judged immediately at their deaths. This is known as the particular judgment. The Epistle to the Hebrews says (9:27): " It is appointed to men to die once, and after that comes the judgment". Then, "Each one will receive his pay, according to his works" (1 Cor 3:8).
There are three possible outcomes to the particular judgment. Those whose love for God has been perfected in this life are taken straight to heaven, where they enjoy endless happiness in the face to face vision of God. Those who die in God's love but still love Him imperfectly must be purifed in the intermediate state of purgatory. Those, however, who reject God's love by mortal sin and die without repenting are condemned to the everlasting torments of hell. The general judgment at the end of time simply solemnly confirms the particular judgments of each one, with the difference that then the body as well as the soul will receive what is due it. And all God's judgments will be revealed as most just.

Actually, this occur at the same time. If you did not die to self, take up your cross, and follow him on earth you will not have to worry about getting into heaven anyway. Do the truth and pray that you make because the road to heaven is not easy it is full of persecution and tribulation. The righteous will barely make it in.

bsanford said it best. We will all be judged based on what we do here on earth. We who are saved will have different rewards when we reach Heaven. Better to be low in Heaven than in Hell.
