It's horrible of me, isn't it?
But sometimes I just wish there was an option to report somebody, who isn't technically breaking any rules of Y!A, but he/she still gets on everyones nerves. Sometimes you wish to report a person just because they're so bloody stupid, annoying and brainwashed.

i have just stumbled across evilbible.com

Here is has quotes (actual, legitimate quotes from the Bible aka 'Word of God') where Jesus lies and God promotes rape and murder.

I'm not trying to prove anything before anyone gets started but wondered if anyone could deny this as it is written in the Bible!

Isn't that saying it's impossible for a mature, nonsociopathic person to distinguish between what's right and wrong without God?

Does it take a God for a mature, nonsociopathic person to realize that it's wrong to hurt others intentionally without any justification?

Does it take a God for a mature, nonsociopathic person to realize that it's not in his or her long-term best interests to go around intentionally hurting others?

If you believe that God is the only reason that people have to be good, because of the threat of eternal punishment, then YOU are EXACTLY the type of person that the rest of us DEFINITELY NEED to believe in God.

Many will say that our decomposing bodies buried 6 feet under will be eaten by insects and give them energy, but what when we die and take our last heart beat and breath. Where did our energy go at that moment. I believe our spirit "energy" took flight to the Lord's Kingdom. So in theory, energy can only be changed, never loss, so where did the energy go at that last moment, if not to heaven, where?

In the bible it speaks of one one particular instance when the pharisees took offence at the words of Jesus. There are, of course, many times when they got angered over His words , but the particular time I refer to is when Jesus spoke of how one must " eat His flesh." It appeared from the pharisees reaction that they misuderstood Him, as they usually did, and they took Him to mean that they must eat His atctual flesh, as if they meant Him to say to " gnaw on My arms and legs and hands and feet". And so, many, who also misunderstood walked away. So, the question is, why do certain sects of religion , namely catholicsm, also think thats what Jesus meant when it is obvious that is not what He meant becasue the Pharisees thought that's what He meant and they misunderstood and took offence? He even explained what He meant to the 12 disciples when He said " its the WORDS that I speak , they are spirit and they are life" Even peter said " thou hast the WORDS of eternal life. "

In an evangelistic meeting, two people hear an evangelist preach the gospel. While one person responds in saving faith, the other person continues to reject God. What is it about the person who responds in faith that causes him to choose Christ? Why does he make the right decision while the other person makes the wrong decision? Is the person who responds in faith better or smarter than the person who continues to reject Christ? What's the deal?

I think the first thing that will come to the minds of many will be the issue of free will. But my question goes beyond this. The question is, why does one person freely choose Christ while the other person freely rejects Christ? What causes a person to make the kind of decision that he or she makes? Is it a spiritual condition, intellectual or moral capacity, or what?

I have grown up Catholic and gone to church every sunday, he was baptized Catholic but his famiy never went, so now he never goes. He's got his own relationship with God outside of a church and doesn't have a label for his faith (he says). He disagrees with things in the Catholic church but goes with me occasionally now and has said he would go with me our and future kids sometimes but he'll never be a "Catholic". When it comes to marriage he barely agreed to marry me in the Catholic church, now he thinks the preparation classes they ask you to take before the big day are absurd. I feel I could probably convince him after stressing how important it is to me, but I feel bad, I want him to be happy at his own wedding. Is it wrong of me to expect him to follow through with all the necessary steps in order to have a Catholic wedding?
