Someone said that to me lately, and it got me thinking.

I felt because it doesn't bother me as I don't believe it, it shouldn't matter. Then this well educated lovely person said that it is the person who believes in it without question and without evidence, that is the one to be concerned for, as they are committing vilification of the very worst type.

Remember quote the OT and I will quote it right back it you, as with the NT, try something more original. Try to use your own morals and free mind to justify this horrific hate crime. OK you are not committing the crim, but you are worshiping one who will do the toasting!

I'm not Muslim and I really don't need a lot of answers dissing Islam. I keep reading responses from Muslims that say how beautiful the religion is, etc. I'm wondering what Muslims think that Islam has that no other religion has. Thanks!

I never used to but my mum had one done that was so scarily accurate that I cant help but believe in it - the psychic just said things there was no way she could have known unless she had a gift. anyway, she said that my partner would become violent within the next 10 years because of things his parents did in the past (he was beaten by his dad who also beat his mum), my question is, is there anything I can do to change this or is there nothing that can be done to change what the psychic sees??

My sisters husband passed away in Feb of this year, he was only 40 years old with two boy's age 6 and 12. He was home alone with the boy's and told the older one to watch the younger one, he said he wasn't feeling well and went up stairs to lay down, my sister was gone. Sometime in the next hour he died of a massive heart attack. The younger one say's he saw at the top of the stairs a large dark figure in black with eyes that glowed that were purple, he ran to tell his older brother, he went up stairs and he heard a voice telling him NOT to go into the bedroom but saw nothing but felt a coldness. My sister came home to find her dead husband. She is a Christian but he was not a believer, in fact was very anit-God, anti-bible, he hated anything religious and believed there was no God and made fun of the "stupid" people who believed. Is it possible that this 6 year old did see this creature..he has described it like the things in the movie ghost, it's face was cat like...any suggestions?

I have asked a lot of questions in this category many pretaining to the bible, and the responses I get are so harsh to the Bible's teachings and stories. Is the text in the bible so hard to believe or is it totally wrong to expect people live by the words?

For about the past 20 years (give or take) I'm occassionally visited by something that feels like a cat walking on my bed. It's not a bad feeling, just strange, of course. I don't know what it means and it's recently began "visiting" again....twice within the last week. I know this is very odd, but I just would like to know if anyone else has ever experienced such a thing.

I'm not a Christian myself but i believe that there are many good moral values preached in Christianity.So wouldn't it be sufficient if people believed that such advice was preached to them by Jesus,a wise kind man,and live according to those ethics and principles?

Are you saying that however correct a moral life a person leads he's destined to hell simply if he doesn't believe in the existence of a supernatural power i.e.God?

Isn't this rather unfair? Wouldn't it be somewhat like a student who handed in an excellent answer failing merely because he didn't acknowledge the teacher who marked it as superior?

This question isn't meant to condemn or insult.I'm merely curious.
