If He hadn't been perfect, our sins could not have been forgiven by His sacrifice.

Jesus is God. When Adam and Eve or the first people on earth sinned, they offended God. The offense had to be repaired by a Divine Person because a Divine Person was offended. For example if you hurt a king of a kingdom, some reparation has to be done to that king. So someone had to repair the damage done or the offense. So God loving us became Man to save us from our sin. This is why Jesus , Who is God had to die for our sins. He was born to die for us.

JESUS was divine because he is the son of the most high living GOD.He was without sin.How can JESUS be not divine and ask to do the things he has said.He is the sheperd he leads us. But his he punished for us and bruished for our sins.He was slayed like a sheep for us.Just because he love us.The bible says 1 peter 1:15 "But just as he who called u is holy,so be holy in all you do".JESUS follows everything the father says.

GOD loves u so much that he sent his son JESUS to die for u to reconcile u back.

John 3:16 says "For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.

Jesus is the Son of God to be divine.

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Mat 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

There are many more verses to prove that Jesus is the Son of God and he is God.

According to the old church fathers he needed to be fully man to be able to pay for the sin of mankind, but also without any sin, so God could accept his sacrifice.

Heidelberg Catechism (Published in 1653):
Question 16. Why must he be very man, and also perfectly righteous?

Answer: Because the justice of God requires that the same human nature which has sinned, should likewise make satisfaction for sin; (a) and one, who is himself a sinner, cannot satisfy for others.

Jesus is Divine. Jesus is God. It is not a matter of need. It is what is. God wanted to live among us and did so and is called Jesus.

The proper order of Creation was forever tainted by the diobediance of Adams sin and this could not be restored by any human being , only God Himself could do this, Jesus is God incarnate and in His human state totally sinless and because of His divine nature is the only one capable of restoring us to friendship with God.

Because that's when he told Paul, when Paul was seeing things many years after Jesus's death, and had reason to be thinking about Jesus because he was persecuting Jesus's followers...

Because ALL "saviours" from Attis, Osiris, Dionysus, Mithras, right through to Jesus HAD to be divine in order to sway the masses, get their money, etc.

Personally, I believein the divine "thong" (as in "Life of Brian")......does it for me!
