When I first started reading the Bible at 12 yrs old, 11 yrs ago, I was terrified. I lived in fear every waking moment thinking that Jesus was gonna come and kill me and my family for not being holy enough. Now I know the world is not gonna blow up or anything. People are going to die but that is nothing new. Jesus is coming to stop the world from being destroyed with war, famine, diseases, natural disasters, etc.

The Bible does say the earth will burn up and be purified and made new but I don't think anyone will be here at that time. There is nothing to fear at all. The Bible says the earth is going to be renovated to a perfect world and that God and humans will inhabit it forever.

I don't play into the notion of the "end-of-the-world" conspiracy. People have been prophecising it now for almost two thousand years, and if it surely would transpire, then what makes people believe that they are "special" enough for it to occur during their life time?

If there is an end of the world, it will not be religious, although religious fanatics will undoubtedly claim it is god's will, but would occur at the hands of Humans.

Not worried a bit. Thank you for asking.
You know that the Bible describes the end times as a close to a period of Earth history and not planetary destruction.
The period of the great tribulation isn't a problem I will have to face as I will be carried away to Heaven during this period of Hell on earth

the world is not going to come to an end until the sun blows up and consumes the solar system
the human species might not survive, however, and I am of mixed feelings about that
on the one hand, the planet would be much better off
on the other hand, we sure did a lot of killing for very little good it did us

I am a little scared, only because i don't feel as if i have lived for God as much as i should. Being 18 years old .. and just starting to get into the church and living for him.. i feel as if there is so much more i can do.

Not especially. Just accept it will happen, but probably in the distant future. It's just another reason to live for the moment I guess.

No, because it's not going to happen for another billion years or so.

I'll be long gone by then.
