For about the past 20 years (give or take) I'm occassionally visited by something that feels like a cat walking on my bed. It's not a bad feeling, just strange, of course. I don't know what it means and it's recently began "visiting" again....twice within the last week. I know this is very odd, but I just would like to know if anyone else has ever experienced such a thing.

Yes my friend you are not the only one...this has been happening to me for years...one time it just came to me, that it was my cat from when I was a kid...I don't think it's strange at all...it scared me at first, but the I realize it was nothing to fear...our amimals come back just as people do...I have also seen, just for a second, another cat that I had, but he is just walking in the hall...I don't know what it means if anything, but it kinda makes me smile....

After my mother's dog died, she would occasionally feel her rub up against her leg as she had in life. A friend has told me that she occasionally hears the bell on her deceased cat's collar.
I myself have had the feeling of a cat get on the bed, and once I felt it's claws lightly brush my leg. I think it's the old stray tom that I used to feed. When he was hit by a car I took care of him, but unfortunately he was struck again a month later. It was at this time that I started feeling what I assumed to be a cat getting into bed with me.
These things seem to happen quite frequently, you aren't the first person to mention animal ghosts in this forum.

Do you live in an old house? Cats are very clingy with their homes and maybe for that cat the bond was too strong that its spirit didn't leave the place.
Many people are visited by animal ghosts, they aren't really harmful anyway. Some even help out.

you can look at this in a few ways
one being that it is simply a waking dream , the product of sleep paralysis
if you want to look at it more mystically
then animals totems would probably be the best bet here
cats are very symbolic of feminine qualities , independence and intuition
could it be that when you have these visits , you are in need of some of these qualities ?
are you needing to rely on your intuition in a situation right now , are you in need of being more independent in the situation etc ?
