I'll never understand why they think a creator would need to have his son nailed to a tree then resurected to "open the gates of heaven".

If the dude omnipotent, then surely he could skip the whole Jesus bit.

It defies logic in every way.

It was necessary for Him to rise from the dead in order to prove His sinless perfection. Jesus was on trial. The accusers (the Jews) accused Him of blasphemy for saying He was God. The Civil Authority (Rome) executed Him. God Judged Him and found Him not guilty. Hence He could not die because only people who have sinned will die. Yes He physically died but He returned with a new body (4th Dimensional) and established the fact that He was God Incarnate (Immanuel). Secondly, Jesus created everything and the Bible states clearly that before the Fall of Man (man disobeyed God) everything was perfect. Had Jesus not been judged as perfect, then His Creation could not have been perfect. His resurrection thus confirms both His Deity and the historical truth of the Garden of Eden and the state of man before the Fall. A marvelous legal battle took place on that day and no one will be able to argue with Him when He returns. Christ has the voctory over death and so do those who believe in Him. After He rose He taught for forty days and then went up to Heaven where He is now and where He intercedes for us before the Great White Throne. (we need symbols as we are living in the 3rd dimension).

If Jesus had not been raised from the dead then there would be no hope and no Christianity. It was necessary for him be raised in order for there to be a resurrection of the just. He did not shed his blood in vain, but shed his blood for the remission of original sin. There had to be a positive outcome from the crucifixion in order for his ministry on earth to be justified. The Resurrection was that positive outcome. Those of us that believe in his atoning grace and put aside the old life for a new life in Christ are joint inheritors with Christ in the kingdom of heaven. God has a definite plan in everything that he does, for he does nothing that is frivolous. After Jesus rose from the dead he showed himself to his disciples and to more than 500 people, then he ascended into heaven in both body and spirit, and sat down at the right hand of the Father to be our priestly intercessor, where he is to this very day. He intercedes for us against the accusation of the devil and for the forgiveness of sins that we commit.

Jesus didn't die as a substitutionary sacrifice. The resurrection was the whole point of the experience. Unfortunately, theology is a lost subject these days - the system advocated by the average 'Christian' makes no sense at all, and is riddled with repugnant concepts (like the idea that God demands a human sacrifice for sin, or that God reconciled himself to man instead of vice versa).

Jesus was victorious over death and appeared before many to give proof of his victory and to demonstrate that as believers Christians will share in the victory.
Jesus is now sitting at the right hand of God and is ruling over heaven and earth

What I think is that it doesn't necessary but since people are not sure whether soul exist, so the fear of death is so enourmous. Then Jesus prove that there is nothing to be afraid about death

Pretty much the same answer as your last question. He appeared before people to show that he had eternal life and therefore all mankind had eternal life. And that there is no death only a rebirth for all who followed him.
