If a god can be all three seperate forms at one and the same time then that is a Tri-theism which is polytheism.

A god who is one but has three holy parts is called a triune god.

However, it is impossible for one part to not know what the other parts know since they are basically all one.

Therefore, if you can blaspheme the Holy Ghost but not automatically blaspheme the other two parts then they are not all ONE GOD.

If God knows when the end times will come but the Son does not know then they are three seperate gods which means the Trinity is a Polytheistic concept.

The sooner everyone accepts the truth that Trinity means Polytheism, the sooner everyone can save themselves from this Cardinal sin.

Monotheism is very clear. There is one God who has no partners... he begets not nor is he begotten and there is none like unto him.

The Protoindo European god Yayash, Yaë or Yave, a protective god whose symbol was a tree, signifying possibly '"walking", "going", "a pilgrim", has been dated back to the Indus River valley, circa 2900 B.C.E. He has been identified with the Turko Syrian Yahveh, a "sacred animal or organization".

"Yahweh appears to have been originally a sky god - a god of thunder and lightning. He was associated with mountains and was called by the enemies of Israel 'a god of the hills'. His manifestation was often as fire, as at Mount Sinai and in the burning bush." "A shorter form, 'Yah', was also used (Exodus 15:2) and some scholars believe that this is the older form, originating in an exclamation to God - 'Yah!' - which came to be accepted as the divine name. Others claim that it is from the root 'hayah', 'to be' or 'to become', and that it meant 'I am that I am' or I will be that I will be'. According to one tradition of the call of Moses, the divine name Yahweh was revealed to him in Egypt: - Great Events of Bible Times

"Originally, these four consonants [in YHWH] represented the four members of the Heavenly Family: Y represented El the Father; H was Asherah the Mother; W corresponded to He the Son; and H was the Daughter Anath. In accordance with the royal traditions of the time and region, God's mysterious bride, the Matronit, was also reckoned to be his sister. In the Jewish cult of the Cabbala God's dual male-female image was perpetuated. Meanwhile other sects perceived the Shekinah or Matronit as the female presence of God on Earth. The divine marital chamber was the sanctuary of the Jerusalem Temple, but from the moment the Temple was destroyed, the Matronit was destined to roam the Earth while the male aspect of Jehovah was left to rule the heavens alone." - Laurence Gardner, Bloodline of the Holy Grail, p. 18

One of the last items faced concerning the Scriptures is of more recent origin and may account for the vast majority of the linguistic problems that occur. I refer to the reworking of the Hebrew language by the Masorites and Tiberians, between the 6th to 12th centuries C.E. The Masorites were responsible for many of the alterations in the vowels and definitions of the Hebrew words. In that the language had not been a spoken one for at least a hundred years before their endeavor, and not until 1948 was it brought back to life again after not being spoken for nearly 1600 years. This is one reason why meanings of a number of words are unknown thus making it difficult for the modern scholar to rely solely on the Hebrew version as the last authority. This is why the tablets from Ebla are still important as the language is akin to the Hebrew and can give us a clearer understanding of 'uncertain' words.
- Rev. Robert Palmer (private correspondence).

Because the Hebrew language does not employ vowels in its written form, the correct pronunciation of the Ineffable Name of God was lost & not rediscovered until about 300AD by the Kabbalists who gave it the title Tetragrammaton, "the word of four letters," & "the square name," or more simply, "the square." At that time the Shem-ha-meforash became represented by the simple form YHVH. -Charles Ponce, Kabbalah, p 175

This hypothesis is not intrinsically improbable, and in Aramaic, a language closely related to Hebrew, "to be" actually is hawa--but it should be noted that in adopting it we admit that, using the name Hebrew in the historical sense, Yahweh is not a Hebrew name. -Ency Brit 11Ed Vol 15 p 321

Known as Saul of Tarsus, he was highly educated and read the Holy Torah. He concluded that these Brethren Jews, who were going house to house telling people that the prophesies of the Holy Torah pointed to the presence of the Messiah in their time, were a false cult.

Saul was not a Pharisee, who like many leaders of today's churches, profit from continuing the old ways, rituals, traditions, and holiday observances. From his point of view, he was a dedicated servant of God, and basically, he was.

All his scriptural study did not lead him to the true religion, but away from it. It took the appearance of Christ, who now exist in unapproachable light, to blind him for him to see the light.

So, YES or NO, are you smarter than Apostle Paul at reading the scriptures and determing what is the true religion of God?

History books are recorded versions of events through the eyes and ears of the writer.

The New Testament cannot be called Revelation since it was not a revealed book. The New Testament was created after the Nician councel chose 4 gospels and burned the rest. Obviously these were not divinenly written gospels.

"Initially there were 34 gospels that were compiled by word of mouth. Four were chosen for unclear reasons and 30 were left behind [burned]. (Encyclopedia Britannica)

The NT is a recording of events recorded by religious companions or pious people who compiled bits and pieces of information several decades later.

Gen 22:1 says "And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham..."

Gen 32:30 states "...for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved."
John 1:18 states, "No man hath seen God at any time..."

Gen 2:17 says "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day thou eastest thereof thou shalt surely die [note: it doesn't say 'spiritual' death]
Gen 5:5 says "And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died."

1 Samuel 31:4-6 says "...Saul took a sword and fell upon it. And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead and...died with him. So Saul died..."

Imagine there are 20 people aboard a 757 jumbo jet. The only pilot has had a heart attack and lies unconscious. The plane will fly for awhile, but eventually it's going to crash unless someone can land it.

Amongst your group there is a fifteen year old kid. He says his father is a pilot, and he's been studying 757 jet manuals for years. All he's ever wanted to do was fly a jet plane. He promises everyone that he can land the plane safely. It's just a matter of pressing the correct buttons and following the landing procedure.

There is also a much older person who was a navigator in a B-17 in WW2. Even though he admits he's got no idea how to work the controls, he thinks his flight experience makes him less of a risk than the 15 year old kid.

2 people side with wisdom.
2 people side with knowledge.

The other 14 want to pray to god for the pilot to wake up, or to land the plane divinely.

If there are so many religions and each thinks their beliefs are the only right ones and that everyone else is wrong, then most people are wrong - and if one religion is right, most people on the planet consider that one wrong. So which religion is the one that is right?

Why does the bible have an "Old Testament" and a "New Testament"? Didn't you get it right the first time? If you are infallible, why did you need an update?

I am 27 and I got out of the religion when I was 18 I have been married 5 years and have 2 kids.Every year my mom gives me her magazines and invites me to her memorials they have once a year. She knows I am not going but she does it any way and it affends' me a little like she doesn't respect me of my life choice.A month ago she asked me and i flat out said NO and i think I hurt her feelings,I didn't say it mean or rude i just said too fast with out thinking about like i think she wanted me too.How do i tell her to stop asking me to attend with out hurting her or sounding rude? Her throwing her religion at me makes me uncomfortable. She thinks i am going to come back someday like some young people do after years of being away from it,but thats just not going to happen, when i dropped that religion i dropped it for good.

for some reason i get the feeling it's about religion. think about it. dumbo is unsure of himself. so he ends up getting a magic feather that helps him fly. in this situation i believe the feather represents religion. it gives those who need it the strength to do what they want to do. the interesting thing about this story though is that dumbo eventually loses his feather (his faith) and thus he is somewhat afraid he can't fly on his own. but, soon dumbo realizes that the feather was just a feather and he was always capable of flying without it. all he had to do was believe in himself.
