My answer to that is we Love God and reverend Him, and in no way shape or form do we want to offend Him - Not that God can be mocked!
I'm sure there would be some good Poetry that is funny.
There's alot of good Jokes that go around!
Have you heard about the rich man who got permission from God to take some of his wealth to heaven with him? When he got there with his heavy suitcase Peter asked him to show him what was inside. As the rich man started pulling out bricks made of gold Peter asked why did you bring pavement?

Trust me... He has sense of humor. Everytime I think I have it all figured out and have a plan, He likes to change things up. Pray for patience in dealing with your children... he'll send you challenges to help you develop patience. Just like every parent, He wants us to become the best that we can be, so He sends us challenges along the way. And like any good parent, He's also smirking at some of the things we come up when we get those challenges.
It's just that like any authoritarian figure, we are more likely to remember the discipline and the times that He got angry with us. Most kids remember every spanking they ever got, but do they remember the cool stuff or the times their parents got silly with them?

i would not know approximately God having a feeling of humor, yet i know that I do have the main considerable & arcane one.. that is each and every so often all that keeps me dealing with those attempting cases, while God's "sense of humor" fails. Any question that has in it, "why do christians?", is going to be an over-generalazation. You would not ask a question saying, "why do ----------- (fill in the minority). Or rather, you SHOULDNT ask it. Any way, just read the story of "Balaams Donkey "in the O.T. and tell me that God doesnt have a sense of humer. Or read the book of Esther. That is one of the funniest stories ever penned. God knows how to stick pins in an over-inflated ego. I dont think Christians portray Him that way at all. Its all about how YOU choose to view Christians. Humor, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder....theBerean

Of course he's got a sense of humor. Haven't you ever seen a platypus? Irish Catholic priests think God has a sense of humor. Just ask one the next time you see one at a pub.
