I'm not Muslim and I really don't need a lot of answers dissing Islam. I keep reading responses from Muslims that say how beautiful the religion is, etc. I'm wondering what Muslims think that Islam has that no other religion has. Thanks!

the fact that there is nothing between me and God...nobody had to die for me, nobody has to sit on a big chair with a pretty robe and big hat and say "pray through me to get to God", nobody can bar my path to God with lots of rules and regulations...Islam is easy to believe, easy to practice...thats it.

The name "Islam" comes from the Arabic word "salam" which means peace, and that is what Islam really calls for, peace for everyone. Terrorists and suicide bombers couldn't be further from their religion. Islam says that all men and women no matter what color, race or how different they are, they are equal in front of their creator, which sends a message to all Muslims to treat everyone the same. In Islam there are no slaves. Most Importantly, Islam calls to pray, obey and worship one God; Imagine 3 Gods, one says the sun will rise from the east, the other says it will rise from the west, the third says that it won't rise. Its Impossible to be more that one God if you think about it.

I have heard that Islamic women are encouraged to shave completely "down there," which goes against the unfortunate stereotype/suspicion that they are all massively hairy. If that is true, knowing western men as I do, it is a huge selling point that goes overlooked.

Nothing at all.
Everything islam states has been stated before. And anything islam wants to justify (like murder, genocide ect) can be justified by their book of bronze age mythology.
Nothing unique or wonderful about ignorance, and that is what religion is; institutionalized ignorance.

1- The Qur'an hasn't been changed.
2- Any Muslim can go to any masjid in another country and make/lead salat.

It exactly tallies with the inner most truth, that exists in every human, "conscience".

As much as one goes deep into it, as much enjoys its truth and reality.

As much as we recite holy Qura'n, as much we get more insight and wisdom out of it.

As much as we pray Allah almighty, as much we become close to Him and we start feeling His love towards us.

As much as we become aware our own inner self, as much we get awareness of our ultimate Lord, Allah almighty.

If I'm stuck and get confused in some matters and it is not easy for me to choose a way out of so many, I start saying Salaam and greetings on the personality of Muhammad peace be upon him, my ways get clerified and refined, like some one gets beam of light in a dark place.

Alhamdulillah, masha'Allaha tabarak Allah,
Allahumma baarik fee. aameen.

Well...
Because it's from God (Allah), the Qura'an hasn't been altered in any way, unlike other books.
