It's horrible of me, isn't it?
But sometimes I just wish there was an option to report somebody, who isn't technically breaking any rules of Y!A, but he/she still gets on everyones nerves. Sometimes you wish to report a person just because they're so bloody stupid, annoying and brainwashed.

arewethereyet: I don't even know you, why do you presume I'm irritated at you?
Soulful Kris: I recieved a threat or two, yes.
Kerilyn: I know, it sucks. I miss the thumbs too.
Sara: I'm not that sick, you know. I won't stalk somebody and wait for revenge for days just because they annoyed me once. And I was speaking in general, not about a certain someone.
Lina-chan: Awww.... *puppy eyes*

reportbot: are you in need of a job? I might just employ you, ya know. I'll give you a list ;)
Rick T: Aren't you trying to read a little too deeply into this all? You're not going to appear any smarter, you know...
Cylon Betty: LOL, priceless!!
Selnyk: yeah, it never pays off trying to kick anybody into using their heads. They retalliate too viciously.

Liv: as opposed to taking somethin into the public and ramming the opinion down everyone's throat, the historic tournaments don't force anybody to go there and watch them. So I don't think they're annoying to quite an equal degree. Besides that, these are not US pretend renaissance fairs. These are real fighting tournament. Real weapons, real armour.
As for the rest of your answer: I find it sad you need to refer to my age to try and discredit me. It's not my fault my parents had me when they did. So what's "real" for you then? age alone?
As for brainwashed, it refers to blindly following the crowd without thought. As I am given to understand, pretend renaissance fairs and NU metal might be popular in US, but come here and try to listen to true stuff and do historical reenactment. Live it. And be careful to dodge the stones.

@ Liv, i dont see anything wrong with fighting with real weapons,.. so that for one or two days out of a year we can actually feel what it was like to hold a PROPER weapon, it is an art, and something not everyone can do.... id love to see you try,..... and im a pagan/heathen also, you wanna start insulting my views?!... cause ill give you a hell of an argument!.
Those silly rennaisance fairs are NOTHING likereal european medieval tournaments, and i think the comparison is laughable.
and the metal comments, ooooooh boy the metal comments, ive been a metalhead for 10 years also, and im 20 years old, so being a metalhead since age 10 is hardly something to be scourned upon, i wonder if back in the 80s, when you were SO busy being a proper rocker, if you were going to concerts at age 11.... and how DARE you challenge me or ymmos trueness to metal, youd know nothing of it, IMO some of the metal made today (which you have frankly no idea about), is in EVERY way superior to 80s metal, with a few exceptions..... and no, dont think im talking about stuff like that american joke "trivium", im talking about stuff you wouldnt have heard before, european metal.
and so what if me and ymmo were being kids during the days of 80s metal, we WERE kids, and its not our fault we were born when we were, but all i can say is that you are really quite sad to be reflecting your own inferiority complexes on others, its not our fault we are young and enjoying life, so stop whining and "get over" the fact that you are past it, and have now succumbed to "adulthood", cough sorry "socialisation and brainwashing into becoming another battery in society, wasting your life away"..... we are free spirits, we work for our money, and we enjoy life and live it doing the things we want..... so how do you like them apples?
you were a "real rocker" in 87 only due to age, and no more,.... and back then rock was as commercial as britney spears is today, so i dont find it commendable that you were into it then, as it was accessible and you were simply following a crowd.... nowadays it takes someone much more true and someone much less easily swayed by commercial advertising to get into proper metal, so i think that your statement has NO basis whatsoever..... also, you were a real rocker in 87 then?!..... well im sorry that i was only 6 months old at the time, i know im not quite "true enough" to have been a rocker then.... SO WHAT!?, i was born 10 years later than you, so its not my fault.
And i find the "peace, no hard feelings" thrown in at the end to be laughable. After you insulted and ran down ymmo on numerous occaisions throughout your answer, everything from laughing to superior remarks... you should get over YOUR self.....
im young, i love life, and i love my metal..... and if we are talking in ten years time, you dont know me, and any of my friends will tell you that ill be every bit the same, and ill be as much into metal then as i am now.... And i frankly dont care about your opinion about how true i am, its more true to find a less popular music genre, and find you like it, remain true to it, and base your lifestyle around it, THAN like you did.... following a popular trend at the time to get guys or girls, or just to be a cool "rebel" or something.
"no hard feelings, ...... peace"
And to answer the question; I agree with you.... i think some questions here are so UTTERLY pointless that its a waste of time and webspace, and many questions are met with over the top HOSTILITY^^^^ and use it as a way to slander others, and then force retaliation from usually patient and quiet members... Also, many of the questions dont even deserve an answer.

The moral is make sure you answer the question first then smart of later.

I'll go further than that: I wish it were legal to slam the non-functioning skulls of stupid people against the nearest wall. I don't mean people who are genuinely retarded, either, just those who are willfully ignorant...

I think then we'd all be subject to the occasional 'stupid' button.
Would that level the playing field or raise the stakes?
