....then, nothing...same as it is now, because god doesn't exist.

Ali - I like that answer. Sure as heck would stop all the bickering is right. Nah - humans can't get along, theyd just find something else to fight about. Oh well - that idea was good while it lasted. If god doesn't exist then people have been asking the wrong questions all along. Time to come up with new questions then.
No Matter - I DO Believe God Exists!!!

He doesn't, "god" is a thing thought up to comfort people. To make them have a reason for being good. Just think if there wasn't a "god" for all the religous people to beleive in, there would be riots in the streets because there would be no rule and no order. Don't let a thing that doesn't exist control you. You are who you are and no one can change that, not even a nonexistant higher being.

Do you mean: "What if no gods exist?"

I'm sure we'd all get along much better in the world and stop having "a divine right" to kill other humans that don't worship the same one as us.

I believe in God because I know He is real and that He is everywhere. Most humans believe in God in some form or another.

If you want proof, here it is:
Most scientists today believe in God because their research tells them that there has to be a God. Think about it, it would be pretty hard to get here from nothing, wouldn't it? The universe doesn't just start at a random time and life starts; God helped the universe support life, but He didn't magically transport us here. Many Atheists have not even read the Bible and they assumed there is no God just because they don't want to accept a higher being than them. Famous scientists in history have stated they believe in God. Some of those scientists are Einstein, Darwin, and Stephen Hawking. If that isn't enough, look into fulfilled prophecies. Hundreds of prophecies have come true. And they were written thousands of years ago. The rest will occur sometime in the future. Or look at the 3 Secrets of Fatima. They were written by scholars hundreds of years ago. 2 out of those 3 prophecies have come true. The 1st one was about a vision of hell. The 2nd one predicted a Second World War happening and Russia being one of the main players. Or you can look at miracle healings. Many people have been healed and doctors have no explanation why. Yet, if that is not enough, you can look at our earth. The Earth...its size is perfect. The Earth's size and corresponding gravity holds a thin layer of mostly nitrogen and oxygen gases, only extending about 50 miles above the Earth's surface. If Earth were smaller, an atmosphere would be impossible, like the planet Mercury. If Earth were larger, its atmosphere would contain free hydrogen, like Jupiter. Earth is the only known planet equipped with an atmosphere of the right mixture of gases to sustain plant, animal and human life.

The Earth is located the right distance from the sun. Consider the temperature swings we encounter, roughly -30 degrees to +120 degrees. If the Earth were any further away from the sun, we would all freeze. Any closer and we would burn up. Even a fractional variance in the Earth's position to the sun would make life on Earth impossible. The Earth remains this perfect distance from the sun while it rotates around the sun at a speed of nearly 67,000 mph. It is also rotating on its axis, allowing the entire surface of the Earth to be properly warmed and cooled every day.

And our moon is the perfect size and distance from the Earth for its gravitational pull. The moon creates important ocean tides and movement so ocean waters do not stagnate, and yet our massive oceans are restrained from spilling over across the continents.

Look throughout the major world religions and you'll find that Buddha, Muhammad, Confucius and Moses all identified themselves as teachers or prophets. None of them ever claimed to be equal to God. Surprisingly, Jesus did. That is what sets Jesus apart from all the others. He said God exists and you're looking at him. Though he talked about his Father in heaven, it was not from the position of separation, but of very close union, unique to all humankind. Jesus said that anyone who had seen Him had seen the Father, anyone who believed in him, believed in the Father. And since 90% of historians say Jesus existed and that the Bible was written in his time, it is only wise to assume he really is the Son of God. His closest followers were tortured and asked if Jesus really came back from the dead. If they said no, they would be set free. They all died saying Jesus came back from the dead. Over 500 eyewitnesses witnessed his resurrection and that was written in many history books; not just the Bible. It is only wise to believe in God. What I have shown you is true proof

Then we die and go into the ground to rot and know no better. Now if He DOES exist, then I am in Heaven and enjoying every minute of it because I chose to believe He exists before I died.

Then we are just an ephemeral insect crawling on a slimy mud ball in a far corner of a meaningless universe. Good thing He is there, huh?

Then no one has any reason to be a good person and a lot of people have wasted their time. Good thing God does exist.
