They began this week and said they could find no one to buy it and besides no one uses it any more. It has been destroyed! They are turning the chamber into storage space for the band. I am so upset! Why don't people like wonderful music anymore? What can I do to get a new pipe organ for the church? I have said that I would write a check for the $300,000 to replace it. They say they don't want it. I have gone to this church my whole life. None of the younger members will listen to me.

There is no proof, but MAJOR suspicion by more than just one person. At this point in time, nothing can be proven. The dark deed is already done. There was definitely a lot of secrets and a motive of financial gain. The suspect is alive and I am a Christian. I know I must forgive to be forgiven, but I wish I could confront the suspect to let them know I suspect them. I don't think the suspect is a danger to me.

Around 80% of America is Christian. The question is, do they act like actual Christians?

Are Atheists to blame for God's wrath being brought upon America? If we isolated or converted them would the rest of us be spared from hurricanes, school shootings, and endless wars?

Honestly, what would you think would be a good way for the angels to "blow off some steam" if they had some steam to blow?!? LOL!

what do you think, if they were hanging out down with us, and where would they go,and or what things might they want to do?

and what would you do, if you were an angel sent down to have a "good time" again..on earth?

I have all kinds of favorite foods, but a guilty pleasure is those communion wafers we eat at church on Sunday. Combined with that sweet, sweet wine, well... honestly it's my favorite meal of the week. Since I know that through the miracle of transubstantiation this is actually Jesus' flesh and blood I'm dining on, should I feel guilty? Or, is it only natural that Jesus would turn out to be so yummy?

Why does the Mormon church teach that there is no eternal hell when the Book of Mormon teaches that there is? (I Nephi 14:3, II Ne. 9:16;28: 21-23, Mosiah 3:25, Alma 34:35, Heleman 6:28 and 3:25,26).

Brigham Young said, “The only men who become Gods, even the Sons of God, are those who enter into polygamy”. (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 11, page 269) Why did the Mormons yield to the pressure of the government and stop practicing polygamy?

How could the Garden of Eden have been in Missouri when the Pearl of Great Price declares that it was in the vicinity of Assyria and had the Euphrates and Hiddekel Rivers in it? (See P of GP Moses 3:14 and D&C 116 and 117; Genesis 2:8-15)

1) Having read a sermon by Biblical Unitarian William Ellery Channing I was persuaded by some of his teachings, and believe that Christ is the Son of God and the Savior, but that the Trinity is not really a concrete scriptural teaching (but like Ben Franklin, I see no harm in it being believed)

2) I detest the religious right, consider them merely social outward Christians

3) Having studied it for three years, I do not think America has a "born-again Christian Heritage"

4) I am not a firm believer in Creationism, not a dedicated enemy to Evolution. I want to first learn Hebrew, to see what the Mosaic account says word for word, then I want to take a college class to see if there is any convincing evidence for Evolution besides, "Scientists say so". After studying the Old Testament more in its original tongue, I may be compelled to reject much of it as legend. If the account was done by Adam or Eve, it may have more weight, but Moses not reliable.

if jesus was born specifically to die for our sins, he couldn't very well commit suicide because he would be guilty of that sin. so he had to put himself in a situation where he knew he would die, i.e. follow prophecy. what's the difference between that and assisted suicide?

Does anyone else think that Barbie should recall the movie "Rapunzel"? It's about incest! I'm not kidding. It's about a girl (Rapunzel) who is kidnapped from her father by this jealous woman who is the father's ex gf. She raises the girl in total seclusion, being very mean and treating her as less than a human servant. Rapunzel finds her way out by accident, clueless, and meets the Prince, her brother, but she doesn't know it. And it's not stressed either, he's just a good looking guy to her. Anyway, in the end she discovers who she is and that the King and Queen are her mother. Father is still with her mother, has had her brother and other kids. Yet in the end, she and the prince marry. Is it just me, or is it just sick that they had Rapunzel marry her brother the prince?

I live in Queensland Australia and it's very dry here. The dams are low, the ground is hard, the grass is brown and our water tank is empty. I have been putting out the word for a "Prayer for Rain" 15 minutes on Sunday 29 April at 7-30 pm Australia time. Would anyone here like to help?
