I live in Queensland Australia and it's very dry here. The dams are low, the ground is hard, the grass is brown and our water tank is empty. I have been putting out the word for a "Prayer for Rain" 15 minutes on Sunday 29 April at 7-30 pm Australia time. Would anyone here like to help?

Yes, i will pray and believe for rain. God has given us authority over all things on this earth, even the rain, so on Sunday lets stand in authority and believe for the clouds full of rain to come! Gr8 going hun!

Praying for rain is a waste of time. If there is a god do you not think s/he knows there is a drought? Do you think s/he is waiting for enough prayers to be logged in before sending some rain? What a nasty capricious god you have, s/he sends a drought and then waits for enough grovelling before breaking it.
Praying for rain doesn't work anyway. Every year in Sydney, a group of Christians gathers at the start of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and prays for rain. It has rained on the parade three times in twenty nine years - and March is the wettest month of the year. Either praying for rain doesn't work - or god likes a good parade.

I'll hope for rain for you, because I know it sucks being dry like that, but honestly I don't believe prayer is going to do any good.

the power of positive thinking (prayers for everyone else) works for me everytime. I will be thinking/praying for this on April 29 for Queensland.

It is for your relationship with GOD that HE does not hears you can establish your relation and if HE has said HE will give HE has said to ask with faith and let me tell you very loud and clear that LORD JESUS CHRIST hears every prayer we do like a Father hears his child asking him something ...
Do YOU believe this ... than surely you will see the hand of GOD . HE is mighty in the presence of HIS saints .

OK. dear god please lit there be heavy rain in Queensland Australia on Sunday April 29Th most of all at 7;30pm or when you feel fit.we say it in Jesus we pray.
