Yes, you're right. The argument however is that because Adam and Eve as the first humans were genetically perfect, the chances of inbreeding causing deformities was far less than those of today.
Cheers :-)

The Bible does not say we all descended from Adam and Eve. It says we all descend from Noah. Cain went to another place, and had seven generations of children. All of those, and the ten generations of Adam (except for the one family of Noah) died in the flood. All of us, are descended from Noah, and we have no idea who his wife, or mother was! It just doesn't say.
p.s. The Bible does say Jesus's paternal lineage is seventy fathers, all the way back to Adam. No one else in the world has ever made that claim.

There were other persons also other than Adam Eve ... it refers to the place where it states that sons of God looked down to daughters of man ... something like this .

The Biblical answer is that when Adam and Eve were created, they were perfect and it took time for genetic abnormalities to creep in. The scientific answer is that humans are very closely related. There is little genetic variation in Human DNA compared with other primates. Also, there are spontaneous mutations that occur in our DNA and over time, these helped ensure the genetic diversity we see.

Blood lines were pure and compatible. Adam and Eve were without impurities in their blood lines making it the same way for their offspring. This continued for quite a few generations before problems with blood lines became impure. Impurity in blood lines is what makes for in-bread problems..

Inbreeding doesn't apply to Adam and Eve because they were originally perfect beings. Imperfection eventually created the genetically undesirable traights of in-breeding, along with all other diseases and sicknesses. It does kind of bother me tho that Cain was banging his sister.

Yes, as a matter of fact. But what you need to remember is that genetic mutations did not occur early on, it was only many generations afterwards that incest became against the law. The article below should help explain things to you:

Yes--but, remember, they were perfect and God gave the laws about not intermarrying much later when sin had compounded so much that it became a dangerous thing.

If it were true, yes!
Thank the Lord, it isn't !
It's just a myth.
Please remember that the Old Testament is just 6,000 years old.
Much of it is really clearly a story made up to answer some general questions that the people would have.
Do you remember the phrase "willing suspension of disbelielf"?
Well, you need tons of this when you read all that.
How can you explain the Negroids, Mongoloids and Caucusoids if we believe in a common parent?
And there're a lot more of similarly unanswerable questions, if you base your thinking on that!
Cheers!
