Does anyone else think that Barbie should recall the movie "Rapunzel"? It's about incest! I'm not kidding. It's about a girl (Rapunzel) who is kidnapped from her father by this jealous woman who is the father's ex gf. She raises the girl in total seclusion, being very mean and treating her as less than a human servant. Rapunzel finds her way out by accident, clueless, and meets the Prince, her brother, but she doesn't know it. And it's not stressed either, he's just a good looking guy to her. Anyway, in the end she discovers who she is and that the King and Queen are her mother. Father is still with her mother, has had her brother and other kids. Yet in the end, she and the prince marry. Is it just me, or is it just sick that they had Rapunzel marry her brother the prince?

Okay...First of all....Have you even see Barbie's Rapunzel???
The Prince is not her brother, he is in fact a prince of the opposing kingdom. She was taken as a baby and raised by Gothel, (the evil Woman) and the other king blamed for the crime, So that Rapunzel's father would destroy the King that rejected Gothel. No insest, no Brother ...Hell....She doesn't even use her hair accept in a dream.

Nope ! SS, Rupunzel was not the sister of the prince........Her father and Prince's father were different kings and they were enemies to each other after the kidnap of Rupunzel...as her father believed that Prince's father had kidnaped her and thats why they were after each other..but at the end that lady comes in on that party and then tell the Rupunzal's father that she had kidnaped her daughter as a revenge becuase she loved him but he declined to marry her.so after all that they prince and Rapunzel get married!

Hey thats incest.....how come no body follow the plot. Did it ever stress in that movie that it could be her step brother or something like that..
Gosh....what value are they promoting nowadays!!
The real fairy tale I read is that she is prisoned by her step mother the evil witch and the prince used to called, Repunzel, Repunzel, let down your hair...! Is that the story if I'm not wrong.

I don't follow. Who is Barbie? Barbie as in Barbie doll? I vaguely remember the story of Rapunzel but I didn't know it was incestuous. I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the info...

I've never heard of this, but if what you say is true then I agree with you, no one should promote incest as a healthy way to live.
