There is no proof, but MAJOR suspicion by more than just one person. At this point in time, nothing can be proven. The dark deed is already done. There was definitely a lot of secrets and a motive of financial gain. The suspect is alive and I am a Christian. I know I must forgive to be forgiven, but I wish I could confront the suspect to let them know I suspect them. I don't think the suspect is a danger to me.

Repentance must precede forgiveness. This person has neither sought forgiveness nor been proven guilty. I think the problem is more to do with suspicion. If you have useful information, pass it on to the police.

Cheers :-)

I don't recommend confronting the person you suspect. Even if they are guilty, they are unlikely to admit to it, and that will probably just make you madder. Besides which, if they really have killed some one, making yourself a threat to them is not a good career move. Don't you ever read or watch murder mysteries?

Keep praying for God to make you willing to forgive that person, and remember that forgiveness is not saying that what they did was right; forgiveness is just cutting the emotional ties of pain to that person. It's letting go of the acid and spiritual poison so you can be free of it. Forgiveness enables you to heal.

Remember that hurting people hurt people. The best way I know of to help yourself forgive some one is to pray good things for them. Pray that they will learn to value other people and that they will come to understand how much God values and loves them.

If they come to know Jesus, He will make their redemption a beautiful story, and through the working of His Spirit they will come to repent of any harm they caused.

If they refuse God for their entire life, well, as a Christian you know that God will give justice to those who reject His mercy. But hands off of it--"Vengeance is mine," sayeth the Lord, "I will repay"--because God can do a better job of taking care of it than you ever could.

My condolences to you in your loss. God bless you.

If you feel you can do this safely, do it. It may clear your conscience.

The other thing: We need to ask for forgiveness every day. We also need to forgive others every day. That's not a one-time deal. Don't expect feel all happy about it. Forgiveness doesn't feel good -- it is good. Ask God for the ability to do so. Ask for help forgiving every day. It's not easy, but it's a command from God.

To be honest, this is a matter for the courts. I would not turn a blind eye if a crime has been committed. I can't see how God would want you to do so either. The only responsible answer I can give you is to go to the police if you believe there was foul play.

i m a muslim. i don't know what our religion says. But forgiving someone is a very tough but great virtue. but forgiving a killer is also a sin. now you can think about it yourself. but be sure first about the suspect.
