Jesus said it would be better for them to have a millstone tied around their neck and thrown int the sea. That's not very forgiving is it? Not everyone is forgiven. I honestly whole heartily believe That God what us to punish evil doers.

The Bible is also very clear about those who hurt children:

"And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

"Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!

However, your answer is yes. Even those who hurt children must be forgiven. Because God will not forgive you unless you forgive.

You break gods law you're punished and sent to hell. Where's his forgiveness? You break man's law you get punished. And someone who hurts children should have their hands cut off.

He who sheds mans blood, so shall his blood be shed. The bible may be clear on forgiving but it's also pretty clear on punishment.

I feel that we should forgive them afterall we all sin and make mistakes. God forgives us, so we should at least forgive others. But...that doesn't mean we should forget what a child molestor does. They should be punished according to the law of man and not be allowed to be near kids again.

I say we forgive those who repent. I have a question in this regard. Does forgiving child molesters mean letting them free from jail so they can hurt more children? I say no. I say forgive them if they are truely sorry and repent and see the error of their ways but they still desirve to suffer the consequences in jail or whatever the government deems.

Yes, we should. Forgiving someone means letting go of all the hurt and spite and anger and hate you have in your heart for them.
It does NOT mean that you should allow them to continue in their harmful behavior void of all consequences.

Example - if a family member of mine was murdered, I would do my best to forgive the murderer. That would have no effect on the trial and eventual incarceration of the individual who committed the crime. Make sense?

I don't know I have a real problem forgiving people who prey on those who can't protect themselves ie children. If anyone did anything to my kids, I would kill them without blinking an eye. But no one is perfect

Perfect example, Saul, went around the country, killing, women men and children for being a Christan, he did not care.
He cut there heads off, cut there hearts out,
He was blinded for 3 days, and became on of the most love wise people we learn from, out of our bible today.
Cant wait to meet up with him, and hug his neck for saving my gravy. Not that I have hurt children, but sin is sin, and we all fall short, any one who says they have not sinned, is lying
