Heaven or Hell are not ligitimate answers for this question and will get a thumbs down. For those with no faith, just assume that there are different afterlives, which one sounds neat to you?

And then asked them where they were at?

A friend of mine did, and hes pretty spiritual. The man he saw in the dream was a stranger who had passed away two days before in a shop they were both in. The old man was from a different religion but he said he was happy and said things were pretty confusing at first, then he got used to it.

Turns out it looks like a white room, and you wait there till judgement day.

I snuck into a local neighborhood church one night. I went up to the alter and cracked open their huge bible. I undid my belt and dropped a huge dookie on Leviticus. It was cold in the church and my huge brown loaf was steaming! I then slammed it shut, pressing my brown republican baby flat.

Church must have been great that Sunday! Tell us about your experiences doing it!

I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Or should it be "but by me or my mother"?

If we are socalled descended from monkeys, why do we drink cow milk all the time? It would make more sense if we drank monkey milk if we came form them.

I try to remember God throughout the day when I think of difficult problems in my life. I say I will leave it God's hands. I can only do so much.

Does anyone else do that or what other coping mechanisms do you have? I think that monitoring your thoughts and thinking positive works too.

Heard on a radio show today, a Father, who is a correspondent from the Vatican, not defend God, when the question was asked, Why did God let this happen.
For believers like me, Satan is just a real as God. God says Satan exists. Why don't people believe that Satan is real? It just boggels the mind when people believe that God controls all. He/She doesn't control all. Satan doesn't control all. That is why life is such a great struggle. The VT shooter did the work of Satan. God didn't allow him to do it.
Also, on another board, a person was given heck because the person said we should say a prayer for the shooter, he is a lost soul, and he sure can use all the prayers he can get, and his family also. The poster didn't say forgive, but just a prayer for his soul. How do you feel about this?

There were 3 good arguments that Jesus was Black:
1. He called everyone Brother.
2. He liked Gospel.
3. He couldn't get a fair trial.

But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Jewish:
1. He went into His Fathers business.
2. He lived at home until he was 33.
3. He was sure his Mother was a virgin and his mother was sure he was God.

But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Italian:
1. He talked with his hands.
2. He had wine with every meal.
3. He used olive oil.

But the most compelling evidence of all - 3 proofs that Jesus was a woman:
1. He had to feed a crowd at a moment's notice when there was no food.
2. He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just didn't get it.
3. Even when He was dead, He had to get up because there was more work for Him to do.

What have you found is the best way to remove goat blood from white clothing?
I've used the same bleach that I use to remove baby blood stains but it doesn't seem to work. I've ruined like 3 good pairs of pants that way, and had to use my Bible-burning kerosene to destroy them... and that stuff doesn't come cheap!

In an answer, someone mentioned that her church celebrates communion on the first Sunday of the month. In the Catholic Church, the sacrament of Eucharist is celebrated daily.

Is there a reason that non-Catholic churches do not celebrate communion daily? Didn't God provide manna for the Israelites in the dessert every day?

I keep reading all of these questions asking variations on "if we were all atheists, what would stop us from doing whatever we want, like going on shooting rampages?"

Wait...WHAT? What are you saying? That you WANT to shoot dozens of people, but only your religion is stopping you?
