Most people find various animals a source of interest and enjoyment. Some domesticated animals make good companions as pets. For example, dogs are known to give unqualified obedience and affection to their masters. Thus, the attachment that people may have for such a pet is understandable, especially a pet that they have had for years.

However, the life span of most pets is not very long. Dogs may live for 10 to 15 years or so, as may cats, depending on the type. In old age, pets may suffer sicknesses and disabilities that can be distressing to their owners, who remember the younger and more active years of these animals. Would it be wrong to put such animals out of their misery, to put them to sleep?

They would, perhaps, have a higher self esteem as they grew up? Do you think that maybe it is time to bring God back to school, and back out in the open?
I applauded that young girl last year, who had the audacity to flaunt her instructions, and thank God in her valedictorian speech. It is just a shame that Christians across the country did not rush to her support, as we ought.
It is time, and past time that we quit backing down in the face of threats. Are we better than the apostles?
Christians, this is a call to action!

Have they actually taught and baptized anyone and sent their membership records to Salt Lake? If the missionaries discover a bunch of people who have been members for 200 centuries, will they owe 2000 years of tithing settlement? Have the 3 Nephites contacted the first presidency and updated them on their missionary progress yet? Do they use flannel board pictures with llamas and tapirs?

So many questions I wanted to ask in seminary...

Well Cho doesn't appear as bashful as we once thought...he has readily provided several letters and video!

But we are only allowed to hear or read tiny bits...stuff like "I did this for my brothers and sisters - bleep - "

Only fools believe in coincidence. Cho named himself "ISMAILS AX" , and exclusively Islamic term, which was found written on his arm. Oh. and guess what, his letter agrees with 911 and spouts hatred for western culture and Christians.

Who do you think are his "brothers and sisters" that he did this for?

MUSLIMS....

Oath taking has long been a widespread practice. In ancient times, for instance, the Greeks raised a hand toward heaven or touched an altar while taking an oath. When a Roman juror took an oath, he held a stone in his hand and swore: “If I knowingly deceive, while he saves the city and citadel, may [the god] Jupiter cast me away from all that is good, as I do this stone.”—Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological, and Ecclesiastical Literature, by John McClintock and James Strong, Volume VII, page 260.

I mean, what good does praying do in a planned-out world and state of things?

Does it mean that God might be able to bend or twist his plan in order to help a ailing theist??

Or on the contrary, does it mean God knew what would happen at VTech, but did nothing to prevent it?

Don´t make any distinctions on the kind of religion.

Believe it does do that, not in the short term or by intention and we can even seen some positive aspects. But globally, throughout the centuries wouldn´t we be better without it?

I just recently saw a program that had scientific proof of the power and control Bhuddist monks had over their bodies...it was absolutely fascinating. I had no idea...are there any other case studies of other faiths that show proof of such control. And please...not the faith healers...I have seen wayyyyy to many shows showing what a scam that can be. I am talking about a controled study with scientists.

For those of you who go out of your way to be rude and insensitive to those asking for prayer - it seems to me that you are more concerned about your agenda than the fact that these are people who are dealing with some sort of tragedy or distress in their lives. I almost want to compare it with the actions of the members of the Westboro Baptist Church. They are more concerned about pushing their agenda of hate than the fact that people are grieving. If you don't believe in prayer, why even bother to click on the question? Try a little compassion, no matter what your belief.

God didn't "allow" this to happen. We did.
I believe Christains ought to start doing as we know we ought simply ignore man's laws, and bring God back into the open. The worst thing that can happen is that we'll get sued. My kids prayed in school, and my grandchildren do it too. The same goes for us adults. We need to display our Christian faith proudly. Even aggressively. We need to bow our heads in prayer, even if we are eating at McDonald's. We need to cry "Merry Christmas" at Christmas time and "He is Risen" at Easter. We need to sing hymns everywhere we go, even in the grocery store. We may get arrested, so what? Are we then, better than the apostles?? We might get sued. What does it profit a man if he gain the whole world, but lose his soul? It is time to quit ourselves like men. Put on the whole armor of God. This is a real shooting war, and we are behind enemy lines. It is time for God's people to wake up!! We need to take back what we have let Satan snatch from us while we slept.
Honestly, Christians, where is our faith? Where is our obedience?
Is this why Jesus asked "when I return, will I find faith in the earth?"

EDIT:
Just so everybody knows, I am including myself in this rant, and this is my public vow to try my very best to try to live up to the standards He has set. May I not back down....
Let's do as the first Christians did, and pray for one another, that our faith, and our courage, not fail!!

You don't have to go into detail about why you think these topics have increased unless you want to. Just state the two you've noticed. I've seen questions regarding aliens and jehovah witnesses left and right. Before anyone jumps to conclusions, I'm not saying JWs teach anything about aliens. These are unrelated questions by different people. Oh yea, I also think people are using the word alien to really describe demons, but they don't want to call them that, because then they'd have to acknowledge there is a God.

Many of you will answer

because is in the bible!

Well my friend.... the bible is written by man. Man is fallible especially during that age before real science was around. Since the bible is fallible you cannot say god said he is the only god when it is obvious that man wrote that himself. Self-interest.

Have you read about other religons around your little world? The Christian faith is NOT the only religon that saids their god is the 'true' god. Other men that wrote other religons also wrote that their god is the 'true' god.

So please be the good christian and dont say your god is false to ANYONE. How would you like it if people from another faith say it to you? It is disrespectful and ignorant. Be a good Christian and respect the other Gods and their religons please.

If you don't believe in prayer don't bother answering this question. If you do please pray for 2 of the Children in My Children's Church class. 1 was taken to the hospital with Viral Menitingis and one almost went into Cardiact Arrest from an Asthm attack. They are both just 9 years old. Satan is working over time to destroy what he can, but he is defeated. Will you pray and ask your church to pray also?

About 4 months ago, I started to turn agnostic. (A couple weeks later, I got a sign from god, tho, and got enough proof to bring me back to my present day faith)
I asked ''How do we know God exists?"
Most replys were pretty nice and good, but i later went to the question, only to find it had been deleted.

Why would anyone (Christian or not) delete such a serious question like wanting to have their faith restored?
It had to have been the best question i had ever asked!
Some people would have turned atheist because of it. Hard to imagine, some people.

God Bless... EyeSpeck

P.S. I can't add details on this computer (only on another one) so if you want some more details, you might have to wait another 24 hours sorry)
