everyone will probably suggest a Buddhist mindfulness book and probably some good ones. i'll give you a non religious alternative Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. if you're in a bookstore ,look thru a copy and see if this is what you're interested in. good luck with whatever you find

Buddhist mindfulness? It's simple... you remain in the present moment in everything you do... when you're eating you chew your food slowly, in silence, tasting every bit of it and eating every bit of it... when you're walking you feel your feet as they touch the ground and move... when you enjoy music, you .... well i think you get the idea.
