Esther, if your beliefs are similar to theirs it is very much in your interest to speak out so that people know you are not involved. Do you care about the integrity of your faith?

Oh please, stop being a moron. If I ask a question, I want a good answer, not a picture of the finger. That deserves to be deleted. Just because you get couple of your answers/questions deleted doesn't mean you have to go immature on Christians. Just get over it.

God does not tempt with evil. The devil does. You need to watch how you accuse. Because you could be very close to blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Wise up before its too late. There is no way that the world can be sin free. And Christians know that. Especially fundamental Christians. Its only obvious that you don't know enough about Christianity to make such accusations. Or ask such questions. Its called the misinformed misinforming others with questions that do not edify what true Christianity is. It seems that you can only receive the answers that you want from people who are either misinformed or know nothing at all about the true word of God. Sin is what separates us from God. Christ came to take away the sins of the world that separated us from the Almighty Holy God. It sounds like you don't want Christ to keep you from going to hell. You say that your free will is your sin and you don't want it to be taken away. If that's what you want then that's what you will have. In hell. Its real easy to say some Christians but it doesn't add any credibility to your source.

I'm a funddamentalist Christian.

I definitely believe in free speech. Without it I wouldn't be able to express anything and neither would you.

I have never sent hate mail because you're supposed to love your enemies and that is what I'm trying to do. Actually you'd be surprised but lots of people send me hate mail. If you look at my posts you'll be able to see that I don't say rude things to people.

I don't know if it's fundamentalists deleting your posts because people delete the things I post too.

No viewpoint should ever be censored from a site like this. The whole purpose of being here is hopefully to share and learn. Hate email and deleting those who disagree with you is counterproductive. Preventing a free exchange of ideas is intellectually dishonest.

With that as the bottom line, I have seen Jesus' name degraded in really foul and disgusting language, and I have absolutely no objection to that type of post being removed. That "rule" applies to other faiths and non-faiths as well, but I'm especially aware when it comes to Jesus. Some minimum standard of decency has to be observed.

Fundys cannot do these to Catholics unless they are being supported from the inside. Why are anti-catholic posts not removed while our very proper, very polite and very civil questions are deleted? Even a grade school kid can see through this bias.

Here are some posts that have not been deleted even though they have been reported.

I have stopped posting questions for fear that I might get another violation notice.

I can't answer for anyone else but myself. Jesus tells me that I am to bless and not curse someone when they say evil against me (or against my Christian brethren) because of Him. I try to do this, but I do admit I lose my cool once in a while.

We are also commanded that, if someone offends us, we are to go to him or her PRIVATELY regarding the offense. I tend to use this method, because I don't think that repaying evil for evil is the best way to go. But there have been some instances when I've posted follow-up remarks rebuking a person.

Some people don't respect freedom of speech. These are the types of people who think like George Bush Sr. and feel that certain people even though they are born and raised in this country are guests in this country. Those types of people also feel that certain people should shut up and do as they are told as it's their way or the highway.

Why are you so down on fundamentalist. It sounds like you have a lot of hate built up inside yourself. I'm tired of hearing you spout. I can understand why you are reported. Just an Atheists point of view.

The oppose free speech because they are fundamentally judgmental and close-minded. They think their beliefs are the only path to God. They forgot that God is love, not judgment and punishment. They wish to inflict their rules and beliefs on others instead of understanding that God does not care what you path you take to him. He knows that we will all eventually get there.

I keep seeing people getting enraged over "fundamentalist" Christians. What are they? I'm rather confused. I am a bible believing Christian. Does that make me hateful?

If you try to stiffle speech that doesnt contain slurs and swear words Id reckon you need a course in ethical reasoning.
