someone in my family buried a dead chicken in my basement and one at my aunts house. She also put a hairball around a picture in my grandmothers house, who she lives above of. What does this mean?

Can you also believe that Liviu Librescu would be in Hell right now? This is the professor who blocked the classroom door while his students went out the windows to safety. Liviu was killed by a bullet that went through the door.

But Liviu is also Jewish so we can assume that he did not believe in Jesus.

So if you believe that faith in Jesus is the only way to Heaven then explain where a man like this would be right now? And if you believe that he had to go to Hell because of his lack of faith - then please, sincerely, explain to me how that is Right or Just ?

...and you're thinking "Oh, boy, I have done so much God and Jesus. I can't wait to get into Heaven..."

When you die, and you're on your way up their to meet your creator, and you're thinking this, what will you do if you get up to His throne and see Zeus, Allah, Odin, or some other god sitting there, ready to conduct the judgment of your life?

I'm asking in response to the question about what will atheists do when they meet God on judgment day.

Why would any animal want to reproduce more of its kind since this would only make more mouths to feed and decrease the chances for survival?

The earth’s magnetic field decreases by half, every 1,400 years. Careful measurements worldwide show that the strength of the field must have been much greater in the past. That’s fine 6,000 years ago, but if you go back 10,000 years, there’s a problem: EARTH’S MAGNETIC FIELD would’ve been as STRONG as a MAGNETIC STAR; that’s HIGHLY UNLIKELY.

How can life come from non-life? Evolution violates the LAW of Biogenesis.

i put out an honest request earlier on for everyone to put aside their religious differences, making the point that we could accomplish so much more in our lives if we weren't so terribly concerned about what happens to us after we die. keep in mind, i wasn't asking people to forsake their religious beliefs, but rather to respect others. for the most part i received good comments about what a good idea it is, but there was a considerable amount of people who didn't care to go along with, telling me i will eventually have to deal with god, and that they'll keep spreading the truth. to me these people seem selfish and are only concerned for their own well-being. is there anything atheists or religious people can think to say to these people to appeal to them?

While repentence is one possible response to humiliation, rageful anger is another equally common and unpredictable reaction.

If Christianity uses humiliation as a tool of conversion, how can it be justified when there is an equally likely chance that it will provoke anger rather than repentence?

Easter occurs at the time of post-winter rebirth, and its symbols of rabbits and eggs are those of fecundity.

Has Christianity simply incorporated the ongoing pagan rituals of spring planting & rebirth as a way of coopting the symbolism for itself?

Somebody replied to me the other day and said there was only one sin which is unforgivable and that is the one against the Holy Spirit. That is right cause it says so in the bible. However does anyone know what it is ,or what hey are, cause I would hate to commit it by accident and then find myself in a dreadful position?

I am a 15 yr old christian and I believe in miracles. I have seen one, and let me tell u it was cool. I am sorry but to the people that don't believe in miracles, then you are mistaken because I saw one.

Of course someone who hasn't seen one is going to think that they don't happen, but i have seen one and let me tell u there is no explanation for this whatsoever. Even the doctors were baffled.

So do u believe in miracles?

I sincerely want to know why the church is against it. Particularly why are they against the use of condoms to prevent HIV/AIDS? It just doesn't make sense. Does anyone know why they think contraception is such a bad thing?

If not, then why does everyone else have to pay for something that was not a sin?

If it was a sin, then how are we any different than they are? What was the point of the whole tree of knowledge?

If it was bad but not a sin, what's the difference between bad and a sin? Why would they do something bad if they were created in God's image?

PS - There's no God.

Obviously, JP2 was not born again. Y*shua said that is the requirement. But Sadly, the Pope never spoke of it or confessed it.

http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/False%20Religions/Roman%20Catholicism/pope_burning_in_hell.htm

Catholics: don't give that tired old "we are born again on baptism" speech. Water AND spirit. I see 2 different things. like salt....AND....pepper. Seperate.

So, When was the last born again pope? Has there ever been one in history?
