Why do women who practice Islam have to cover thier heads?

Why do people that practice Islam are called muslims?

What are some important rituals performed by muslims?

1- This and other commands of Allah we do it seeking the rewards from Allah...so it is, and it should be, to obey to Allah rules.

2-Because Allah did call us like that in Qurran..Allah said in Qurran..He (Allah) Called you Muslims. The Muslim who submit to Allah's rules. The Real Follower of Jesus, Moses..etc. are Muslims by definition of Muslim.

3-The central believe of Islam depends on faith of Oneness of Allah..or There is Only One True God ALLAH. And practically Prayer is considered the most important rituals we perform.

Islam means "submission," i.e. submission to God. "Muslim" means somebody who submits (to God).

Once a year during the month of Ramadan, Muslims are supposed to fast every day from sunrise to sunset; eating and drinking are allowed at night.
