IT DOES NOT, HOWEVER JESUS DOES GIVE US A FREE WILL, AND WE ARE ACCOUNTABLE FOR EVERYTHING WE DO AND DONT DO IN THIS WORLD.

In American English:
What ! Do you not know that the body of you people is the temple of the holy spirit within you, which you have from God? Also, you do not belong to yourselves, for you were bought with a price. By all means, glorify God in the body of you people.
references......Deut 21:20; Prov 23:20; 1Pet 4:3
These scriptures tell us to take care of our physical bodies.

you're right, we belong to God, and must take care of the temple that we live inside. Even though it's going back to the ground, for right now and our earthly journey we need to take care of it, and keep contaminants from entering in. Read about the tabernacle in the old testament. Really study how that temple was important and compare it to what He wants us to do with ours, it gives you even more insight on just how valuable we are through Christ.

When you become a Christian everything you have even your body is the property of God because the Word of God said so and you except it the day you made the choice to became a Christian on that day you are giving everything to God.
That's why your Christians are so free because God is in control and we do not need to worry about anything!!!

If you are a child of God, then you must lay everything down for Him - meaning, EVERYTHING is for Him. Your body is not yours, its HIS. Thus, everything should be done for His glory, including what we do with our body.
This question sounds like you may be drifting into legalism - we don't follow God's law just for the sake of following law. We follow our LORD and the freedom He gives us for sin, and we shouldn't be thinking, "is this allowed? is that allowed?" We should rather be happy in doing our best to glorify Him in all we do - and that should bring us peace and joy!

Sure does - as long as you want to please God
LIke driving a car in the city - your foot can make it go 30 mph
or 60 mph - as long as you WANT to go 30 mph - you glorify God
at 60 - God's messenger will give you a ticket
blessings!

Absolutely not. You ae totally right.
That cry of "it's my body" always struck me as being incredibly selfish. Don't these...ahem...."women"....
have enough sense not to abuse their body in the first place by opening it up to the possibility of a pregnancy they don't feel ready for? If you are not ready for the responsibility of a child, you are not ready for the responsibility of a sexual relationship. If it's "your body" why don't you have more respect for it than to cheapen it that way?

I thought that's what we were doing was treating our bodies as temples. The thing is, some temples are more sacred than other. hehe.

He is mostly referring to unclean / unnatural sex. and the bible is to be read by everybody. And all laws / precepts are to be followed by everybody not just Christians . Not being christian does not exempt anyone from these laws / precepts. These laws are not to cramp our style. In fact enjoy all the sex you want , as long as it is natural. It just makes sense to keep yourself from harm .
