Even though there are now 8 countries involved they are still popularly known and called the G7.

What do you think?

I have attended church for most of my life and heard most of the gospel read at one time or another, but until now have never been inspired to learn or study the words. I am just looking for best practices in terms of approaching what seem to be a daunting undertaking. Thank you.

....Well I came across a thought of what type of flower is that in the Image of the holy family. Either the infant Jesus is holding it or Joseph the husband of mary (aka: joseph the worker).

The only thing that anyone has is what they have in their heart. You either have Jesus{LOVE] or satan which equals Hate or nothing which is not love which is not Jesus Do you understand what I am saying. If you were to die what can you take with you?If Jesus does not live in your heart what is the use in even doing anything because the outcome or ending is hopeless. So what is the use.Does this make common sense?

Mum is in hospital and goes into theatre tomorrow morning at 8am, the doctor said the cancer has not spread and won't have to take the leg off, which is good news, she will have the bone removed from the ankle to the knee and have a rod inserted which will make her leg equal with the other one, which is also good news, Mum will have to have a couple of skin drafts over the next 6 months but she will be able to walk again, Mum will be in hospital for about 6 weeks, My sister and I are going to get her a laptop so she can go to YA while in hospital, She said to say thank you and thank everyone who prayed for her, prayers are working for her, she is truly blessed to have friends on YA like you .
Thank you

for the record: I am not thinking on suicide.

What I mean is, if you are suffering, i think is the best to end pain whether emotional or physical.

I can't help it. It's just so addictive. I started out of boredom and now I can't stop. I know it's wrong, but they are so, so, so... smug in their beliefs. Like they are in on a secret and everyone else is just a mis-guided fool. What should I do ? How can I stop ? Upsetting them is like shooting fish in a barell, it really shouldn't amuse me, there is no art required, no skill. The simplest thing, even the (deliberate) mis-spelling of the name of their order sets them off...
I want to stop but I can't ! Help me !

And even when we cry out to him when we are in our most miserable states, he does nothing but sit back and watch, our family dies of cancer and we pray to him everyday, but he just sits back and watches, almost like a person who, if we were drowning, would just stare at us, with a cold emotionless face.

my wife died of cancer a month ago, and so did God for me.

Seriously, whenever anyone mentions Muslims there's at least one "all Muslims are terrorists, they are our enemy" comment, and then there's this enormous "threat" posed by illegal immigrants from south of the border.

I find it amazing that this xenophobia seems to cut across all religions, socio-economic levels - even education levels, which is the scariest part.

Is there something in the American psyche which "needs" something to fear?

Obviously I don't mean ALL Americans, but a heckova lot from what I've seen here.

Indonesia, the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, is literally on my doorstep. Indonesians live in overcrowded poverty, under restrictive military regimes. Yet here I sit on this vast, prosperous island with an enormous, largely unguarded coastline. If anyone should feel threatened by invasion or illegal immigrants it's me.

Yet I don't feel threatened.

Am I brave, stupid,

Why is Muhamamd not in agreement with the word of God and the prophets?Moses taught the tree of life. Abraham that the lord would provide himself a lamb. Isaiah that the Messiah would be a Savior for his people. John the Baptist that Jesus was the lamb of God. Jesus taught he must fufill the prophesies of Isaiah and that no man comes to the Father but throught he Son.

"And argue not with the People of the Scripture unless it be in (a way) that is better, save with such of them as do wrong; and say: We believe in that which hath been revealed unto us and revealed unto you; our God and your God is One, and unto Him we surrender."

Qur'an 29:46

So. Ever argued with any of the people of the scripture? *snickers*

Did you know this? Did you know that those committing cowardly acts in the name of MY religion are not being muslims at all? Quran says don't kill innocent people. They do it all the time. Hadith says leave innocent women and children alone. The fundies target markets of women and children shopping for groceries and school supplies. I, for one, have studied it all, for the past 10 years. I've been complimented by Imams for my knowledge, and my Palestinian Arabic speaking step brother even admitted that he had learned from me about this subject and fasting. Are some of you just ignorant that you choose to believe everything bad you hear and ignore anything good? I'm optimistic, not pessimistic, and I look for what there is more of. From what I've learned in my studies, there is far more good. That's what counts.
