If God created the mountians, oceans, creatures, etc then why is there so much scientific proof that natural forces are at work.

But if God isn't real then why are there so many miracles in the world that can't be explained by science?

Or does the sun reflect it's ray's off of the surface of the moon?

This is a little poll to see how literal some people take the bible.

This is a serious question. I want some educated Muslims to please respond. Sura 29:27 states clearly that, as far as Allah and the Qur'an are concerned, the only true prophets are those related to Isaac (Ishaq) or Jacob (Yaqoub); yet Muhammad, according to Muslim tradition, is related to Ishmael and not Isaac or Jacob. So how is muhammad considered to be a prophet? I am not trying to offend anyone. I just need to know. This is the second time I am asking this question. I received one real response the first time and it still did not answer the question.

What I've learned regarding gender and sex just collided with my religion. I'm hoping a wise PAGAN on here can help me sort it all out.

God is male, Goddess is female. Got that, makes sense. Those two energies combine to make life. I happen to be a mix of both (I'm genderqueer, NOT intersexed). That all works just fine.
Male, female, that's sex. Ok, so that means I'd be a Priest (as apposed to a Priestess) if I took that path that far, because I'm male, right?
So what if an intersex wanted to become a Wiccan/Pagan Priest/Priestess? Now I'm confused.
Any Pagans around here who could shed a little light on this?

What about transsexuals (FtM and MtF)? What would their clergy titles/roles be?
Anything special I should know about genderqueer individuals like myself?

I'm not talking in a "shove-it-down-your-throat" type of standing up. I'm talking about bashing, and others defending themselves respectfully and trying to help. How do you feel about those who try to do good even though some think that because of a label they've been given or happen to fall under, they are evil no matter what they do?

"Either P or Q
Q is fearsome
Therefore, P is true."

The argument is invalid. The appeal to emotion is used in exploiting existing fears to create support for the speaker's proposal, namely P.

Does this argument sound firmiliar? *snickers*

Someone told me that we often suffer some problems because of evil spirits e.g. fear of the unknown, worrying for no apparent reason, hardship, etc. Is there any remedy for such problems, spiritual or otherwise?

I'm undergoing a spiritual reconstruction. For the past year or so, I've been doubting religion and trying to figure out what I should believe. After a long time thinking and researching, I am ready to make a commitment to Christianity, though I'm having trouble with faith. I was raised a Christian, so I've been there. Now that I've doubted so much, I am finding it hard to have faith in the things that do not have answers, such as belief in an afterlife and credibility of the Bible. What can I do to increase my faith as a believer and take the steps needed to actually consider myself one?

i found 6 kittens nesting in fiberglass and in a location where the mother rarely was able to get to them. i have lost 3 so far and thus leaving me with only 3. i can't give them to an animal shelter due to the fact that they told me that they'd just put them down due to their age. i am trying all that i can but still lost the three... please just prey for the little kittens to survive. thank you.
