Catholics (including the Pope) are spiritually born again (and again and again) through:
+ Belief in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior
+ Living the Gospel to the best of our ability
+ Daily rededicating ourselves to Jesus Christ
+ Receiving new life in Baptism
+ The forgiveness of sins through the Sacrament of Reconciliation
+ The infusion of the Holy Spirit by the laying on of hands in Confirmation
+ Taking the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ into our bodies through the Eucharist (Holy Communion)
+ Even during the penitential season of Lent
These are a few ways that Catholics are spiritually born again. We usually just don't use those words.
With love in Christ.

To be born again, means to have handed your life over to Jesus Christ, and to now live by every word that proceedeth out of the word of God. That means that you live by the word of God. Compare their lives to "what saith the scripture", and you shall see whether they are born again. I could give you my alarming discoveries, but God has given us reason that we may all use.

Jesus said you MUST be born again to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
That makes mostly all Catholics, popes and priests alike somewhere other than heaven.
Here is a nice article about Pope John Paul II burning in Hell, sadly for G-d and the Pope.

They are born again through their baptism just as every other member of the "true" church is. You asked for that one.

When a Catholic says that he has been "born again," he refers to the transformation that God’s grace accomplished in him during baptism.
So YES.
Cheers :-)

Sorry, but see, you only get born once in a life time, nine months or so after your parents have sex and conceive you.

No, you have this confused my child.. You are to ask me, if you are the one worthy of life. Perhaps if you bring wine with your plea of worth. I may in a drunken stupor, consider you worthy enough to not be a lion snack....

Who knows? I wouldn't automatically reason them out to be real Christians just because they were where they were.
