Deut.32:39 See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of My hand.

Shouldn't they have the chance to hear the Word of God for themselves while they are still young and impressionable before they become hardened to everything as their parents are? Let them make their own decision.

Seriously I say this a lot and want to know what the big deal is.
To me its like a prayer.
Car wont start "God-damnit" I am asking God to damn my car to hell. I actually ask him to damn a lot of things probably. But seriously how is this a big deal...other than the fact I dont really pray in any other context.
Anyways how is this saying blasphemy?

I see some people use the phrase so carelessly. I may not worship the Middle Eastern god, but I believe a lot of things. I believe in many Gods and Goddesses. Am I mistranslating the phrase? English is not my first language, so there is the possibility of that, you know. Or do some people with certain beliefs just feel anyone who doesn't agree with their mind-set is a "non-believer"? Does that make them a "non-believer" for not believing the same things I believe?

Clue me in, please.

Oh my gosh, I just started her study of Daniel, on my second week. I have read Daniel many times but with Beths study, it is so in depth and its like you are living in the time.
Does your church have Beths bible study? If interested, check her out online or contact churches to see if they have her studies. I promise you will be blessed beyone belief.
She has one also on The Patriarch, the book of Genesis.
We meet once a week, watch an hour video and have workbooks and homework. If you do Beths studies, will you share your experience with me? I am so blessed by this study.

I know people will commit sins, but didn't the Crucifixion essentially forgive these sins? Why is eternal damnation even an option if He died for us? I have pondered this for a long time and have never understood it adequately. What are your thoughts?

Is an Athiest one who does not believe in God or any deities...yet do believe in an " Energy " or " life force " of sorts ? To believe in ' energy ' would be the believe in a person's soul.

To not believe in the ' Sun " itself...yet does acknowledge and ' believe in the rays and ' energy ' source that is stemmed out from that sun ?

My understanding is that an Atheist does not believe or doubts the existance of God. Yet does an Atheist believe in the essence of our souls that are within us ? And where does an Atheist believe that ' energy ' essence of our soul's stem from ?

I'm simply Spiritual...of not faith or religion...yet, respecting of all.

Really wondering this concept of what an Atheist believes.

Not of necessary importance to know...yet...I have great curiousity to wonder of.

BTY...not seeking answers form " Bible thumpers " who are out to save all...no disrespect intended...simply seeking focused answers to this question. Thanks.

My question relates to Revelation 20:12,13 (the following from the KJV)

"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and HELL delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. "

Why are people being judged AFTER they have been in hell? If hell is a place of punishment, shouldn't these people be going to hell after judgement?

Please support your answer with chapter and verse~
Thanx!

She told me about this bio-chip we all supposedly have to have. I'm baptist and she asked me am i Christian, then she said its kind of the same thing. The thing about the chip she said is that 666 is on each 1,the bible in Chapters 14,15,and 16 in the last book of it speak about it to a certain extent. She said my soul and nyone elses who gets it soul will instantly burn in the lake of fire forever. Then she asked me a 2nd time after educating me about the chip will i take it. I told her no,she said i will die if i don't and am i willing to die for god and i immediately said yes. I'm not getting anykind of chip put in me even outside of my religious beleifs. Anyone here of this chip, tell me more. Its been worrying me all weekend.

This question has been asked before, but it didn't have answers i liked.

If God is forgiving, why does he not forgive people after they go to hell?

I don't believe in God, i used to, but i don't anymore. Say i die tommarow and go to hell, i will obviously realise wow there is a God. I was wrong, forgive me God can i come to heaven? As i have been told, No, i would not be allowed to go to heaven. Does God really punish people for being uncertin on earth, and allow them no second chance, to be fair he has no real physical evidence supporting him. Someone could be the nicest most moral person in the world, not believe in God, and burn in hell forever, while a Christian could cheat on their partner, ask for forgiveness and go to heaven.

Any reasonable God would allow a moral person, even if he didn't believe in him, to go to heaven. Saying "You can't go to heaven because you didn't believe in me even though you made positive impacts on thousands of lifes." is pretty damn selfish.
