You are correct in your statement that people with certian beliefs feel that anyone who doesn't agree with their mind set is a "non-believer". This is how the term is used. If you do not believe in their God, they will call you a non-believer. This term tells you as well as others they may tell about you that you do not believe in thier God. Making you a non-believer in there eyes. They should clarify there terms of this usage so that a person could understand it better. We know everyone believes in something. Even if it's just the sun rising in the morning. You pose a very good point and it should be taken to heart, so people will use the term in it's correct form and leave the hearer with no doubts as to what thier talking about. Instead of assuming everyone knows what they mean.

the church we see in these days are by way of in huge regarded as splinter institution like branches from a ordinary framework of ideals, a ordinary interpretation and consider of the bible, that is the basis for the ones ideals and international view. When variations come up, and each events with fervor cite the authoritative scriptures as their groundwork, then each events conform to disagree and aspect approaches and a brand new church is born. The variations may also be over something, it's position of the ardour in the back of it that determines the break up. A non denominational church is a church that used to be shaped and has no roots, with an current conventional framework of ideals. It is a gestalt of ideals from various denominations, a few baptist, a few reformed, a few charismatics. The church may have a specified consciousness headquartered at the founding pastor history, akin to baptist, reformed or charismatic. Another time period for non-denomination is 'Bible Church' Peace

A non-believer is someone who doesn't believe that God the Creator is the One true God above all other gods. He is the God of the Jews and the Christians. All others are considered man made gods. None of them offer the true gift of salvation found only through Jesus Christ.

Hi Morg! In Christianity (I'm talking Biblical Christianity), a non-believe is someone who does not believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior or believe in the one true, living God of the Bible. It has nothing to do with not agreeing with a particular mindset. It has to do with whether or not you have a relationship with Jesus Christ as a follower (believer) or whether you reject Jesus (non-believer) and follow after false gods.

The term non-believer is usually used between two or more people of the same belief system in referring to others who do not believe as they do. IE two Christians in speaking of a Buddhist would refer to him as a "non-believer".

The answer all depends on who is asking it, but I think you are correct in saying that it is anyone who does not agree with a person's mindset. Does that make them a "non-believer" for not believing the same things I believe? Well, if you really think about it, every one of us is a "non-believer" in someone's eyes.

Depends on the context. If a question refers to believers then I tend to use the term non-believers, if to atheists then atheists.
We all have beliefs but the title of the section does refer to religion...

Sorry, I know that I use this term. What I mean by non-believers are those who don't believe in a personal relationship with Christian God

Being a non-believer means you're smart and have half a brain to understand how science works and that everything was not created by a magical man in the sky.

In the original Greek/Hebrew Christian Bible, "believe" translates into something other than just acknowledging something exists. This "believe" means that you are truly believing with all of your mind, soul, and heart that Jesus died, rose again, and that you are now forgiven. Visit www.gotquestions.org
