....Well I came across a thought of what type of flower is that in the Image of the holy family. Either the infant Jesus is holding it or Joseph the husband of mary (aka: joseph the worker).

Hi Marlon, indeed they are Lilies,these figure often in the scriptures,Jesus gave that wonderful discourse about not worrying in which He said,Look at the lilies of the field they do not sow or reap etc, also in the Catholic faith one of the titles of Mary is `Lily of the valley`

Rose of Sharon is Jesus Christ. But, if you are talking about a painting, it wouldn't be biblical or 'in' the holy family as you say.
