I can't help it. It's just so addictive. I started out of boredom and now I can't stop. I know it's wrong, but they are so, so, so... smug in their beliefs. Like they are in on a secret and everyone else is just a mis-guided fool. What should I do ? How can I stop ? Upsetting them is like shooting fish in a barell, it really shouldn't amuse me, there is no art required, no skill. The simplest thing, even the (deliberate) mis-spelling of the name of their order sets them off...
I want to stop but I can't ! Help me !

Well, teasing people isn't nice. If you can point out a genuine flaw in their teachings and thereby help them to better understand things, that is respectable, but you have to respect everyone's right to disagree with you. You shouldn't tease anyone for their beliefs.

1. log off right now
2. think about what you have said and what you want to do
3. think about this:
**arent there more important things that you could be doing rather than not being nice on YA?
**do you like being teased about your beliefs?
** do you think what you are doing is nice?
** is it really worth arguing with people that you cant even see or actually talk to?
** ever tried saying something nice?
what about just ignoring them???? they are not really your problem
im sure that you are not a bad person. im glad that you have admitted to making a mistake. most people would not do that.
im not writing this to tell you off, but to help you.
ask God to help you to stop. He is there and He loves you and wants to help you. say a prayer. try being nice. it can be hard yes....but its not impossible!
i know that i have said things to people that i have later regretted, but it is from making mistakes that we learn.
by identifying your mistake, you can now learn
you can do it! i believe that you can.....
