Truth comes from within and not necesarily from without. The validity of something's existence and existence of something's validity are really two sides of the same coin. In practical terms, this means scientists have already proven that there is no is difference between something being in 'here' and being out 'there'. (Feyman and Wheler) As to which one is more important, that is a different matter entirely.
Here's an a great quote from the bible even though I am not Christian:
Ephesians 5:13 All things that are reproved are made manifest by light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
Just as in buddhism, inner creation becomes outer creation. (light = truth). Something true is unerring, unalterable and does not fall away to outer influence. Faith is knowing we have this ability to distinguish what does and does not fall, or put another way, outer truth is unknowable becuase it is not supported by inner truth. Of course, the complete opposite is also valid: I CAN NEVER KNOW ANYTHING TO BE TRUE. In the end, you are what you believe.
True Story: A chinese king once assigned a monk to be his personal advisor. One day, the monk was called into his palace in front of a court of elders and the king asked "I have built may grand temples, fed the poor, and opened up new centers of learning. How much karma have I erased?"
The monk could only answer "None, that which creates does neither harm nor good." The council gasped. Pure silence ensued before the king torted back "who are you to talk to me that way."
The monk replied "I do not know."

The trouble is, so are you.
Not that I'd ever tell you, mind.
I don't want to hurt your feelings.
Anyway, you already know that I'm the only one who's Really right.
That's what I like about you.

According to The Holy Bible the Way is Jesus Christ and as for as thinking goes God's Word has some thoughts i will share with you. Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.
so your thinking needs to be in line WITHOUT taking verses and taking them out of context THEN you thinking will be in line WITH GOD'S and IF ITS NOT then your thoughts are out of line, speaking of thoughts again in Isa. 55:8 For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
Also The Lord wants you to hear HIS thoughts in Jer. 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

People need confirmation on what they think they already know. They need validation, not answers.
