Very close. The ' beast' is one entity, made up of seven nations or countries.
Each country supplies to the beast support, in finance and personnel.
Only one 'entity' matches this. It is the current United Nations.
Revelation states that 'power' will be given to the beast.
Now when there is a problem in the world, instead of any single country going in to rectify it, the problem is taken to the U.N. and then they authorise the member countries to send in troops, money, doctors etc.
This is what happened in Iraq. It is not just the U.S. that is involved.

Modern readers of the book of Revelation sometimes think that it must be written in a secret code. Some people even suppose that the first century Christians to whom John wrote Revelation could not penetrate its code, but only those of us who live today. Such is the nonsense that read tanks, helicopters, and computer bar codes into the symbols of Revelation.
Would a loving God inspire a message to his people in a code, which they could not understand?
In fact, the original readers of John's letters were not as confused by its style as we are today, for they were more familiar with apocalyptic writing. Never make a mistake of assuming that, because you don't understand the symbols in Revelation, the original audience didn't either - because to them the meanings were perfectly clear.
The book of Revelation spoke to early Christians, in symbolic language they could understand, about the situation they were facing, not about the situation Christians would face, 1900 years later.

The seven headed beast, is the geneology of Jesus. There were seventy generations, Jesus being the last. Every tenth generation was a patriarch, or man of God (seven in all). The horns, are also of the seventy. Every seventh generation was a notable character (ten in all).
His lineage marked him for death, by the Romans, Herod, and the devill himself.

France, Germany and Italy are certainly part of it. But since the U.S. and the U.K. are brother nations and fit the biblical Ephraim and Manasseh descriptions therein, they are not a part of the final beast. But are the victims of the beastial wrath.
