The word "faith" has many meanings today.
Since religions have been used to perform ungodly acts. The word religion is now often represented by the word "faith". Politicians often do this to promote their religious views. Sometime they use this to mobilize their religious base.

However, I do believe that faith means knowing or accepting something as truth without any question.

So why test something that is true?
The action or intent to test faith shows one has no faith.
