"And argue not with the People of the Scripture unless it be in (a way) that is better, save with such of them as do wrong; and say: We believe in that which hath been revealed unto us and revealed unto you; our God and your God is One, and unto Him we surrender."

Qur'an 29:46

So. Ever argued with any of the people of the scripture? *snickers*

I never argue about politics and religion. because some people can't reason with anything.

In no way Have I ever tried to force Islam on anybody...I only answer questions to those who are truly seeking answers...I do tell Christians and Jews that our God is one....But argue with them? No, that is a waste of time!
Their Hearts are set in something Just as ours are....We (Muslims) can not be persuaded of a different way...we hold strong to our faith and beliefs just as others do...
To those who Seek they will find, but to those who keep an empty heart and closed eyes will never know nor be guided..

Yes, I actually stick to this, this was the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, whether Muslim or not, he would discuss with them in a manner that befits them and a way that they would understand.

I also follow this verse:

3:64 Say: "O followers of earlier revelation! Come unto that tenet which we and you hold in common: that we shall worship none but God, and that we shall not ascribe divinity to aught beside Him, and that we shall not take human beings for our lords beside God." And if they turn away, then say: "Bear witness that it is we who have surrendered ourselves unto Him."

and this:

5:57 O you who have attained to faith! Do not take for your friends such as mock at your, faith and make a jest of it-be they from among those who have been vouchsafed revelation before your time, or [from among] those who deny the truth [of revelation as such] -but remain conscious of God, if you are [truly] believers:

3:61 And if anyone should argue with thee about this [truth] after all the knowledge that has come unto thee, say: "Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves; and then let us pray [together] humbly and ardently, and let us invoke God's curse upon those [of us] who are telling a lie."

I still dont understand the Quran!!!! every muslims has an opinion different about the verse 9:5 and the rest of the verses about to fight againts the people of the book!! but why!!

Muslims are not to argue to the people of the book (jews and christians) or even to other faiths because we are not obliged to convert people but ONLY to deliver the message. Should you accept it, praise God!, should you not then we are believers in God but you take the consequences of your actions infront of God.

While there are very few "Muslim" radicals parading infront of your tv screen shouting death and violence, there are millions upon millions of muslims living a life of peace beside their hindu, christian, jewish, buddhist or even atheist neighbors. Let not your mind be brainwashed of what you see in your tv screens. REAL LIFE is beyond your colored monitors.

Muslims almost always argue the corruption of the Bible when Allah claims it is his word and his word can not be changed.6:114,115. The Qu'ran says to agree with the revelation handed down to me that your God is our God, When obviously Allah is not the God that was before Muhammad therefore could not be in agreement with the God of Abraham or Jesus or the Gospel he claims.

I don't like to argue anymore.

I state the truth, and let them decide.
