In all religion, God advocates us to love and respect each other.

Though I've seen a lot of people hurting others emotionally, physically or anything else that would trouble other people, all in the name of God or claim it to be God's will, or the truth.

So here's the wager, instead of fighting for God, why not spread love and respect instead?

If you're fighting for God, how do you know that really is God's will? What if you got it wrong? What if your actions would displeases God? What if it's just your own personal agenda?

If you spread love and respect, live in harmony and tolerance, God would love that. You have nothing to lose, don't you think?

So why not accept this wager?

Ok, I'm 15 almost 16 years old. I have 3 sets of grandparents (due to divorce and remarrying) 1 set is never goes to church, another goes to church every Sunday and are good people, the final are born again Christians. I am in the top of my class at school and one day hope to be a scientist. My question would be how do I be who I want to be without hurting someones feelings? I love all my grandparents, but the one set that are born again Christians are forcing God and everything down my throat. Sending me e-mails, books, even at points criticizing me for what I believe right now since I don't readily agree with them. Is it so wrong that I can't belive in God when I believe so much in evolution because there is hard evidence to back it up? I don't want to hurt anyones feelings for what I choose to believe, whether it is in God or not. How do I make my grandparents stop trying to force me into something???

I dont understand why anyone would be completely taken in by some crazy alien called xenu, and this stupid dienetics stuff.

OK; I have been trying to meditate so that I can meet with my totem (who happens to be an elephant). I have been trying for two days straight... I just couldn't meditate. So eventually I was lying in the tub and I decided to try it again. The soft trinkling from the water was really relaxing and I felt kind of aware of my surroundings. Then an image came to me and the elephant was behind the shower door and was speaking to me. It told me its name and some other things. So, did I finally do it? I wasn't sleeping or anything...

It seems that many people mistrust other religions, and I think that this stems from a lack of understanding of other religions. So, would you answer by giving your religion and the basic jist of it so that people may better understand it? Also, give your opinion on religion & tolerance in today's world (for a best answer).

Do you feel that you live as rich, varied, and liberated life as woman in the West? Do you feel that you lack anything in your current environment?

I mean no disrespect in asking this question. But, it seems that people here in the West feel that woman are treated with inequality in the Middle East. At least thats the message that I had previously been given. In contrasting the two cultures I was surprised to find out that the occurance of rape and violence against woman was considerably lower in Middle Eastern countries than in Western ones. And it seems that many Middle Eastern woman feel they are less exploited and vulnerable than woman in the West.

With that in mind, I would like to hear how Muslim woman feel about this and how they view their lives. Perhaps discussing this openly might enlighten a few Westerners.

Thank you for your participation.

in the Mormon religion? Isn't that just a huge waste of money? Why does he do that? He told me he only wants "non-spiritual blessings", and doesn't care about an afterlife.
Is he crazy, or what?
