Job 41:1

Concerning Leviathan.

The description of the Leviathan, is yet further to convince Job of his own weakness, and of God's almighty power. Whether this Leviathan be a whale or a crocodile, is disputed. The Lord, having showed Job how unable he was to deal with the Leviathan, sets forth his own power in that mighty creature. If such language describes the terrible force of Leviathan, what words can express the power of God's wrath? Under a humbling sense of our own vileness, let us revere the Divine Majesty; take and fill our allotted place, cease from our own wisdom, and give all glory to our gracious God and Saviour. Remembering from whom every good gift cometh, and for what end it was given, let us walk humbly with the Lord.

1) That the universe as we know it was formed by natural processes over a very long period of time, obeying the laws of physics as we understand them, to produce the universe as we see it today, or.

2) God spoke/sneezed/snapped his fingers, and here we all are.

Here Jesus says to a woman. "it is not right to take food from Children and throw it to the Dogs" (NLT) - Most difficult verse I have come across. Jesus calls the woman a dog, to her face.

I mean God is real, right. Then why are we here on earth, that just don't make any sense.

Trust me it just don't make any sense. We should be up there with God, not on earth.

I am just about ready to leave this earth, who thinks I should join God in heaven?

Tell me what to do so I can go to heaven right now.

You can give your favorite talk or whatever. For me, among other things it was something to help re-affirm my testimony of Christ and his atonement, and of the restoration of the gospel. That's pretty general I know, and it happens all the time, but I'm just so glad that we have the gospel. Anyway, I'd love to hear what you got out of it as well!

There was a man during the great depression, his name was John Griffith. He was drawbridge operator on the Mississippi River. His wife and him had only one son, he was the light of Johns life. One day Johns son went to work with him. At lunch time they went down to the bank of the river to eat. John lost track of time, he heard the wistle of the aproaching train, looked at his watch and knew that train was a passenger train with hundreds of people on it. John told his son to stay there, and he ran as fast as he could and climed the ladder to the shack where the controls to raise and lower the bridge are. He looked to the left, all was clear. He looked to the right, and saw his son had followed him and he fell onto the gears. Time was almost up. John had to raise the bridge now or hundreds of people would die. He covered his eyes and pulled the lever.
John gave his sons life so others could live.
Sound familiar?

This is a true story-google John Griffith

Well, i think i love this girl. She is a really good friend of mine and i love everything about her. me and her have the same things in common, like Everything, and shes christian, does not cuss, likes the same music i do, i mean perfect for me. The thing is, one of her friends came to me and asked me if i thought she was cute, and i answered yes. I know her friend told her, and now when i hear her talking with other people about me i get the feeling she doesn't like me. But the wierd thing is she still seems like she likes me, and thier is nothing akward between us, even though she might know i like her. I am so confused on what to do, do i tell her, and she say no so our friendship would be akward or just wait it out? What do you guys think? Also, the reason i put this in the christian part is i want godly answers, the christian way to approach this issue. since i am a christian i thought it would be smart to post it here. thanks in advance!

You Cannot. When I sat there I thought Quickly. This man will listen to no arguement no stantement I make from My life. So I did something that is amazing I said. "if he isn't real if I am deluded then if I pray that he will reveal himself to you nothing will happen" So on the Train I laid hands and prayed I prayed that the Lord would reveal himself in a way that the man would understand. If you wonder. If you are reading this you wonder... Pray. Ask him to prove himself. That is what happened to me. What do you think to that?
