The talk is because those that made the attacks were claiming to be Muslim and or followers of Islam (not sure if there is a difference).

To all the Muslims and followers of Islam, if you do not want your ways and beliefs to be thought of and tied to terrorists, PLEASE stand up against them! Make your voices be heard and stop fearing those that are extremist doing these things. You are right, there are also those who were horrible that claimed to be Christians, I say that if they have not repented and asked for forgiveness, then they are not Christians. I doubt that at the time of there crimes that they could have been Christians. There are so many cults that try to link themselves to Christianity though, that you don't know. Look at Hitler, he said he was, but he was not. Look at the Waco guy, again, not a Christian. I think that even the crusaders were lost, not truly knowing God. As for a TRUE Christian, that would not be in their hearts to act as such.

Until September 11, 2001, I didn't even know that we had a problem with Muslims. Muslims have only been in America for the past 40 or 50 years.

Because most people are scared of Islam and don't know what it is about. So their way of coping with their fear is to say Islam is bad and all Muslims are terrorists. They let fear and ignorance and hate get in the way of really getting to know Muslims around them and seeing that not all Muslims are terrorists and that Islam is not a bad religion.

You will also note high numbers of Muslims cheered in the streets of various Muslim states shooting guns and cheering chanting "Death to America" after 9/11 No Muslim groups were out in demonstrations protesting the terrorist acts. Now as far as Rap music I hate it too.

First of all it's human nature to clump people together and stereotype. Terrorist became a bigger threat after 9-11. Since they were Muslims, most people stereotype all Muslims. After 9-11 one of my best friends fathers was attack in a bar for being Muslim. After that she wasn't allowed to go to any ones house. it really is sad how most people stereotype people and persecute them.

Sadly, the politically correct are covering over reality in their efforts not to offend Muslims.

Have you noticed that all the hijackers were Muslims?
Have you heard any apologies from the Muslim community?

Muslims don't help themselves when they overreact to perceived slights, like the Danish cartoons , or when they murder people like Theo Van Gogh in cold blood because they disagree with them.

Why don't they overthrow the "bad regime" as you call it?
Why do they treat their women as possessions or worse?
Why do they justify their hatred for the Jews with quotes from their book?
Why do they continue to practice barbaric customs, like stoning and female circumcision?

Which Christians are you referring to? And what exactly is rappe?

Bush dixit. He said what you 'must' believe.
For the rest I agree, if a Muslim has to choose if killing a bad Muslim or a Good Christian, he will kill the Christian 'cause unfaithful.

Americans do like to think about the dangers upon them. 9/11 has woke us up. Most terrorists are muslims. You have to face the facts. What Christians are raping and killing small children? Please show me the newspaper..... I doubt it is not a Christian, there is nothing Christian about raping or killing. Murder is a sin and raping someone is immoral. Anyone who does this will face consequences from God.

one problem is that it is a stereotype that all Muslims are terrorists by stereotype I mean that stats show it to be true based on demographic, at least terrorists in the since of a threat to the world, and the Christian is another type of terrorist
