Your easter eggs are pagan. Always have been - always will be pagan. Resurrection Sunday is celebrating Jesus and His death, burial and resurrection on the third day. Even good Christians get too caught up in commercial Christmas and commercial Easter. I have noticed many times that God has very little to do with Christmas or Easter so we fool ourselves into thinking we are celebrating religious holidays.
We need to start putting "manger scenes" on every yard instead of Santa Claus. We need to teach our children about the grown up Jesus and what He did instead of keeping Christ in a manger in a stable. It is not about baby Jesus. It is about the King of Kings and Lord of Lords who will shortly be coming upon the scene. We will know once and for all time what it is like to have a King instead of a President. There will be no comparison. Jesus told us to "seek first the Kingdom of heaven."
