To start off, sexual immorality is one of Judaism's three cardinal sins.
Adultery is a betrayal of your spouse, and of God as well. A husband and wife are supposed to become one unit, helping each other grow spiritually. If one partner commits adultery, that's a perversion of what God intended.

How do you look at adultery yourself? If you have a spouse openly cheating on you? Do you know that even in the animal kingdoms such as the lions, do not tolerate the idea of his mate to be mating with another lion? What more of a man that has feelings and strong emotion against someone he feels as his own and then making love to another? Unless you enjoy orgies and have a tendency to cheat on your spouse, I do not think it will be healthy for you to experience it and not be horrified. It is not only the Israelites who holds those things in horror.

It is a violation of the sixth commandment.
2380
Adultery refers to marital infidelity. When two partners, of whom at least one is married to another party, have sexual relations—even transient ones—they commit adultery. Christ condemns even adultery of mere desire.171 The sixth commandment and the New Testament forbid adultery absolutely.172 The prophets denounce the gravity of adultery; they see it as an image of the sin of idolatry.173
2381
Adultery is an injustice. He who commits adultery fails in his commitment. He does injury to the sign of the covenant which the marriage bond is, transgresses the rights of the other spouse, and undermines the institution of marriage by breaking the contract on which it is based. He compromises the good of human generation and the welfare of children who need their parents' stable union.
Peace and every blessing!
