I think they would not bother to show here, but tell me if I am wrong.

As long as are two different viewpoints, there will be debate, and I will continue to post.

I find this an interesting question b/c IRL I am NEVER bothered by atheists. When I was a church-going, tithing, upstanding citizen I never once saw a door-to-door Atheist trying to convert me. Now that I am an atheist, I still haven't seen one. I'd LIKE to see one. I'd welcome them in and have a lovely talk with an atheist. But Christians....... Jeesh, they just won't stop. It's MY soul. If I want it to be damned for all eternity then I think that's my prerogative. But no. Always with the preaching. Half of them don't even know as much of the scriptures as I do. What you are witnessing here is a backlash from Atheists who are angry at the judgmental treatment that they receive from their Christian peers. If you stopped taunting Atheists they would leave you alone. I would wager that most Atheists who post here are not as militant in the real world. Every atheist I know (and we are growing) just wants to be left alone.

You consider yourself superior because you have been "saved". I consider myself superior because I hold myself 100% accountable for my own actions.

If there were no Christians in R and S the atheists would still post. If there was no Christians there would be at least one other religion there so the atheists probably still post there because of a different religion. Atheists are against every religion. Where there is difference there will always be problems.

I think you are seeing everything through a broken pair of glasses. Nobody hates anybody on here. Just because everybody doesn't agree with eachother doesn't mean that they hate eachother. It just means that they don't agree with eachother about certain things. Sure some people might dislike some people froim all groups. But that's not the case with every single person from every singles groups. I have some friends on here who are Christians and I genuinely like them. Don't take everything that goes on here to heart. Just go with the flow and let the chips fall where they may.

Why would they? There would be no one to insult. Of course, there are those who confuse Q & A with debate, so apparently they'd have to go find a real message board, with people who could actually respond back, but obviously if they had that figured out, they wouldn't be here. Then again, maybe they tried it but couldn't deal with rebuttal, which is why they pretend this is a debate board. Some simply don't comprehend that this is not a debate board. So without anyone here to pretend debate them, they'd just move to another section and try to argue something else until it finally sinks in to them that Q & A means questions and answers, not debates.

Ivana, you're confused. If atheists just wanted to be left alone, why are they here all the time insulting us? Please.... I've never tried to convert anyone in my life and I have no intention of ever trying to. Our job was to spread the word, its done, I don't know anyone who hasn't heard it, if you reject it that's your decision.

Atheists do not believe in the paranormal/supernatural. That covers all religions not just christianity. Trust me, theres plenty more people with fantastic beliefs to keep us going.

If there were no Christians on R&S we would just bug everyone else :). If there were no RELIGIOUS people, well there wouldn't even BE an R&S section.
