I read in Islamic history books that prophet Muhammed slaughtered ALL the men from a Jewish tribe (Banu Korayza), enslaved ALL women and children of that tribe and sold them in slavery market to buy weapons.

The reason was allegations that the leaders of that tribe MIGHT had allied with his enemies.

I was shocked when I read that story because I have always thought that prophet Muhammed was one of the most peacful persons in history.

(1) Is that story true?
(2) If it was true, why did he punish the whole tribe although it is impossible that they ALL betrayed him (if his allegations were true)?
(3) Even though, why did he enslave the children? (did they also betray him)?

In the past day or so i have posted many questions about Faith and about Gods purpose in general and many of you have answered(Thank you). By asking these questions and provoking your feeling i have(Presumably) made you stronger in your Faith because you were forced to stand up and protect your beliefs making you stronger in your commitment to God. My question is this...Am i doing Gods work by doing this or am i just proking Gods wraith onto myself? What do you think?

I'm trying to figure out which "Holy" book to read next.

I'm looking for one that has a lot of philosophy in it and not too many fairy tales.

I have heard from many different people that the old testament became obsolete when jesus died and eventually the new testament was written. However, We still see it being used quite a bit. Are some parts ok to use but not others? If someone could help me with this it would be appreciated. thanks in advance

After the first revelation had come.
I found this on the internet:

The ignorant Muslim scholars then decided to proclaim Muhammad an illiterate man! They figured that this would make the Quran's extraordinary literary excellence truly miraculous. The word they relied on to bestow illiteracy upon the Prophet was "UMMY." Unfortunately for those "scholars," this word clearly means "Gentile," or one who does not follow any scripture (Torah, Injeel, or Quran) [see 2:78, 3:20 & 75, 62:2]; it does NOT mean "illiterate."

It astounds me.

Some christians just can't seem to comprehend that atheists don't believe in any sort of God or "higher form" or "supreme being" or whatever else.

Why can't these individuals get their heads around the concept?

It is after all a pretty simple idea, when you die you're dead. How can it get any more straight forward than that?

If i told my son all he needed to do was ask for something (Like God does) and i would give it to him and then i didnt but instead told him to have faith(Like God does) and held off for years(Like God does) he wouldnt believe i was truthful in my promise. Everyone who sits around with a bible in their hand putting their hopes on the line just because of faith Are foolish. The only reason you people preach Faith is because your only other choice would be to walk away. You have NO other choice. What are you going to do 'make God help you?' Your thoughts?

That no one, even Christians can go 100% by the Bible.
Do you think that this is true? If I insult any of them, the only thing that would come back 100% of the time is an insult.
Even the preacher would hate you back depending on the insult.
I thought that in the Bible, anything like hate, rage, revenge, violence, greed etc. is considered a sin. I think that nobody, not even Christians can live without fulfilling these desires.
Because so far, I haven't seen anyone that was able to resist this.
Jesus is a different story.
I mean the average people(followers of Jesus=Christianity).

The evil woman who gave birth to me and who my godly and saintly father saved me from has finally hunted us down in Venezuela. We were going to flee her on llamas, but it is the rainy season. It looks as if she is flying down in order to reclaim my sister and I. This evil woman must not gain control of us. I have been brought up to be polite to even the most godless of people, but she is a loose and sinful woman and is trying to take me away from my wonderful father. Is it permissible to be very mean so that maybe she will go away and leave us in our pure and godly peace?

I know there are extremely powerfull Hindu temples in India , bu I dont know which and where , else I'll immediately fly down to pay homage as a pilgrim.

Therefore , if any Hindu out-there could kindly recommend me the temple, it would be a great enlightenment opportunity for me and a blessing for you as well.
