Even if we didnt harm anybody or anything. Even if we comitted a stupid crime when we were teenagers, how come some of us cannot forgive ourselves and move on? I cannot forgive myself for stealing something, i tried to make it up by giving the same exact amount of money that the item was worth to charities but i still do not feel peacful with myself.

Well, it should just be one, but what if that Christian doesn't believe the light bulb exists, even though it's right there in front of his face? I mean, you can't argue rationally with a Christian. If he says the light bulb is not there, even though YOU can see it, he'll just tell how he feels sorry for you and if you "understood" God you'd be able to see that there's no light bulb there at all. (Even though it's there.) Whoa - that didn't make much sense. So I guess all you Christians will understand it just fine! Let me know what you think.

Your God does ... he said it twice (Leviticus 11:6, Deuteronomy 14:6-7).

Let me help you with something, I just want to save you some time. You CANNOT understand Christianity on your own power. You don't the necessary tool to understand it. Here's why I say that......

"1 Corinthians 2:14 (New International Version)

14The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned."

So can you see why it all seems so silly to you and not to us?

If God gave you a personal, direct order to kill your own child, would you obey Him? If not, why not? Surely you don't think you're smarter than Abraham, do you?

And by the way, if you DID receive such an order (from a booming, disembodied voice emanating from the sky), how would you verify that it was really God, and not a trick (I hope that you would be just the least little bit skeptical if you heard such a voice)?

What if your God didn't order you to murder your own son, but ordered you to do something else that you knew was morally wrong. What if God ordered you to kill yourself? Or if he ordered you to have sexual intercourse with a seven-year-old girl?

Many religions believe there is hell and paradise, that people when dead they are gone to one or the other, so why the Bible is talking about a resurrection of the dead?
Who are the ones to be resurrected?
According to many believers, these are already in the place they deserve to be.

Any comment.

It is the explicit, unequivocal commandment of your God.(Exodus 22:18; Leviticus 20:27).

And no, I'm not "taking those verses out of context;" go ahead and look them up. I'll wait.

I am a witch ... a card-carrying pentagram-wearing circle-casting Tarot-card-reading Sabbat-celebrating witch (merry meet!). If we met, and I assured you that I am in fact a witch (I'll swear to it on your Bible if you like), would you kill me? If not, why not? You should obey God rather than men (Acts 5:29).

Are there any other parts of the Bible that you routinely disobey? Does this mean that you have a rebellious spirit, and need to repent?

Or does it perhaps mean that you obey only the easy commandments of God ("Love thy neighbor") and ignore the commandments that might get you into trouble?

How would you like it if MY holy book ordered me to kill Christians ("Thou shalt not suffer a Bible-thumper to live")? Would it make you a little bit nervous if we got into the same elevator?

It said my closest match was Neo-Pagan. I read the description provided but still cant pin down the exact meaning, apparently this encompasses a lot of different beliefs, so Im looking for some clarification, any Pagans out there your input would be appreciated.

I have seen some Christians say that the only way to get into Heaven is if you're saved, and it doesn't matter what you've done in your life.

I have seen others say that it doesn't matter what you believe, if you're a good person you'll go to Heaven.

So which is it?

Some of the biggest bigots I've seen are the ones that call themselves "Born again." So would they go to Heaven, being hateful but saved, or not? Would a person like Gandhi, a wonderful person that wasn't Christian, go to Heaven or not?

How does it work exactly? Should you be true to yourself and be a good person, or be saved and do whatever the Bible or a pastor/priest/minister tells you?
