Well that logic would lead me to say that my pencil is responsible for spelling errors.

No field of study is either positive or negative. It's what humans make of those studies that have those effects.
Of course science has been used, and abused, throughout history and in most wars, but it was the humans using and abusing it who made those choices.
To blame science (or anything like it for that matter), and I'm sure I wrote this in an answer yesterday, is to seek to avoid responsibility for our own inadequecies.

i respect technological awareness I have all my existence. did you understand that between the most admired paleontologists is a Christian minister? did you understand that the top of the human genome undertaking became a Christian. did you understand what the college of Berkeley says. in reality, human beings of many various faiths and ranges of medical expertise see no contradiction in any respect between technological awareness and faith. because technological awareness deals purely with organic phenomena and causes, it won't be able to help or contradict the existence of supernatural entities — like God. survey of scientists at acceptable study universities discovered that more effective than 40 8% had a non secular association and larger than seventy 5% believe that religions positioned across important truths. could or not that is you aren't from now on as open minded or recommended as you imagine you're? could or not that is that you purely heard that, and universal it without gaining knowledge of?

The technology and knowledge given to us by scientific truth may have been abused in wars. But the wars were only started because of religious fanaticism.
Every single major conflict in all of human history has been motivated entirely by religious belief. You're deluding yourself if you think otherwise.
I'd also like to point out that only two of you 'scientific evils' were in any way bad. The rest all serve to better the human condition.

Time travel to alter the past?!?! TIME TRAVEL TO ALTER THE PAST?!?!?!?!?! Why has no one told me about this?!?!?!
Science is not evil. Religion has also been the cause of many deaths, and is used in all wars, in one way or another.

It has not caused anything ... we did ... using it.
Wake up, you use a toilet don't you, understanding that the more we understand the world around us the more we control that world. In 1890 the first toilet was only for the Queen of England. That's science ... advancement and and history.
Science is a part of understanding The Creators mind and purpose ... is that enough? Think about it!

Yes, mostly, because of all the money wasted on useless and dangerous things, like you said. Progress is not always progress. Just because we can do something doesn't mean we have to do it. WMD's include some of the most dangerous disease agents ever conceived. And there are thousands of tons of them. Thousands of nuclear weapons still today. All of them must be disposed of, sometime.

No, science is a tool the same as a pencil. A tool can be used for Good or evil, it depends upon the person using the tool.

Yes it is. If you are a,
a) Christian: science raises doubts about bible,
b) Hindu: science is quite short-sighted,
c) Muslim: supresses those who do not know much of it.
