It's the part that isn't bound by beliefs. Spiritual is your bare essense. It is bound only by reality, which a lot of minds will argue isn't the physical. Science tells us that solid objects are technically tiny bits of matter held together by a molecular bond. The matter is called the electron and proton. There are several electrons revolving around a solitary proton, much like planets around the sun. In between the electrons is microscopic space, which amounts to most of what you are actually looking at when you look at your monitor to view this answer.

Mostly nothing, with bits of matter strung together to form something that is usable.

Anyway, spiritual is the part of you that will understand that, and religious is the part of you that will cause you to doubt it. And spiritual is the part of you that will grow as you mature, while your religious views simply become that of harmony with humanity and the rest of our being, including the earth's and the rest of her life.

Protect your spirit's future with acts of good will today. And if your religion doesn't make sense, try to understand it better. If that doesn't work, read the Book for yourself.

Regards,

Chris
