I mean, when our knowledge was much less than what it is now, it was so much easier to believe in Gods and an after life and all that religious stuff. Now though, in order to maintain faith, a certain level of denial and a limited exposure to knowledge that can weaken faith is necessary. Religion for most people is just a token effort, you know, it's just there for funerals and of course the religious holidays are good, but nobody really takes it that seriously anymore except for the Muslims. It seems as though as the rest of the worlds religions are fading, Muslim fanaticism is rising. Why?
