How does this attitude relate to the prayer of Jesus "that all may be one" (John 17,21). Is it possible for Christians to be joined as one spirit enriching each other through the diversity of our faith? We can dance to the same music but have different styles, right? Can the promise of Jesus "when two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them" (Matthew 18,20) apply to all inter-faith discussions in this forum? If that is not possible, can we have a moratorium on inter-faith bashing during this season of Lent?

i am a christian and before i went back to god i was dating a married woman yes i know that is a sin so we broke up but it was on good terms well we r freinds and we where chillen at my house and we ended up kissing and well i did not feel guilty abought it so does that make me any less a person
let me revise this she had already left her husband before we met but her divorce is not finalized

I mean, when our knowledge was much less than what it is now, it was so much easier to believe in Gods and an after life and all that religious stuff. Now though, in order to maintain faith, a certain level of denial and a limited exposure to knowledge that can weaken faith is necessary. Religion for most people is just a token effort, you know, it's just there for funerals and of course the religious holidays are good, but nobody really takes it that seriously anymore except for the Muslims. It seems as though as the rest of the worlds religions are fading, Muslim fanaticism is rising. Why?

A lot of times, when I answer a question, I will get emails or comments and a lot of them come from kids whos ages range from 10-15 years old.
Is that that is all that is on here? Kids?
Im 36 and I dont understand how someone, who hasent even lived half as long as I have, can sit there and tell me I am wrong about something like this. These kids havent experienced the trials and tribulations of adulthood, yet they know everything?

it seem all atheist loves to make fun of Christian , why should they even bother to..the holy Bible tells me that there will be few that Goes to heaven, and by visiting this site and comeing in contact with so many unbeliever i can assure that the statment made in the bible is true , ( few there be that inter the kingdom of heaven) the blunt statement saids" the unbelieving shall have their part in the eternal lake of hell fire.. well if you,re and atheist this is crap .. but if you,re a believer this is truth its" as simple as that case closed for me no more crap reading Atheists statements...to all you unbeliever so long i want see you in hell for i trust in the grace of God...

As a non-believer I find it a very bemusing thing to say that just because I don't argree with someones beliefs, I should get ready for eternal damnation.
Don't get me wrong if there is a god and heaven I'll be very grateful for it. But just because I dont have your faith doesn't mean I should be hated for it.
By the way may I finally add that I have no problem with religious people, each to their own I say.

What does this mean... and proof please (don't just come and give me your opinions)?

From what i know Jesus (peace be upon him) said his a prophet of God... so from my perception all prophets were the way to God, the truth of coming with a message of 1 God, and the light of guidance.
The Prophets came all with the same message (1 God), and Jesus said he didn't want to change Moses commandments.

1. I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

So there is God, Jesus, and the third person... and now Mary (may Allah bless her) as become God as well!

After being raped I became very introverted. Then I felt that I became a hybrid person. Partly human and partly something else. Not that its bad but I feel partially human. I have had alot of bad days but then some where I felt other worldly.

Do you think this is good ? Do you think God did this for me ?
