What does this mean... and proof please (don't just come and give me your opinions)?

From what i know Jesus (peace be upon him) said his a prophet of God... so from my perception all prophets were the way to God, the truth of coming with a message of 1 God, and the light of guidance.
The Prophets came all with the same message (1 God), and Jesus said he didn't want to change Moses commandments.

1. I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

So there is God, Jesus, and the third person... and now Mary (may Allah bless her) as become God as well!

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?

Jesus said that He was the only way to Heaven and to his Father in Heaven.

Lets get a few things clear: The Heavenly Father of Jesus was not Allah, but Jehovah. Allah=/=Jehovah.

What then, does the Quran say about Jesus and His ministry. While revered as a prophet, the Quran states that Jesus was not crucified.

Why not? The entire premise of Biblical scripture and the life of Jesus was for the fulfillment of prophecy that predicted He would be the sin offering for all of mankind. (We do not earn a trip to heaven by our good works, but by our faith in Jesus to serve as an offering for our sins.

This is why Jesus gave himself on the cross to die-so that you and I could inherit eternal life.

What does the Quran say about Jesus's death?

Quran says:

Jesus was never crucified. They never killed him. God took his soul and terminated his life.

3/54 They plotted and schemed, but so did GOD, and GOD is the best schemer.

3/55 Thus, GOD said, "O Jesus, I am terminating your life, raising you to Me, and ridding you of the disbelievers. I will exalt those who follow you above those who disbelieve, till the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is the ultimate destiny of all of you, then I will judge among you regarding your disputes.
----
4/157 And for claiming that they killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of GOD. In fact, they never killed him, they never crucified him-they were made to think that they did. All factions who are disputing in this matter are full of doubt concerning this issue. They possess no knowledge; they only conjecture. For certain, they never killed him.

This scripture (I use the term loosely) totally invalidates the entire Bible. Not only was it prophesied that Jesus would be hung on a tree and undergo the trama of the crucifiction (Ps 22), but because Jesus was used as our sin offering, we are able to obtain eternal life. The Quran is, therefore, not accurate words of God, but the words of a man bent on his own agenda. Salmon Rushdie is right when he titled his book the Satanic Verses.

The Koran teaches:

Bakara Surah:

62. verse: Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

--

You see here that the path is easy - all it takes is good works. Anybody can do this, without having to pray to Mecca 5 times a day.

Jesus said that he was the only way to Heaven.

Without the Crucifiction, Jesus's death would be meaningless. However, he was crucified, rose from the dead, and is our way to Heaven. Failure to accept the offering of Jesus's death, by accepting Him as the Saviour, is the unforgivable sin.

It is not too late for you to decide to follow Jesus.

The Bible considers Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit to be "three people in one." The best example I can give of this is a Man. A single man can be a father to his son, a husband to his wife, and a son to his father. There were many prophets in the Bible, but Jesus was the only prophet that was not only prophet that was not only the Son of God, but rose from the dead and was sinless. (Matthew 14:33 NIV)
By living a sinless life, yet dying on the cross, Jesus paid for our sins. The Passage "I am the way, the truth and the light. No one comes to the father except through me" means that Jesus is 1. the one way to Heaven, 2. The true Son of God,
3. The light (God is considered light, and Satan darkness. While some people argue shadows, there is no way light can be together with darkness) 4. He paid for our sins, so if we put our faith in Jesus, instead of God the Father seeing our filthy sinful image when we die and are judged, He sees his Son, Jesus, pure and clean. Mary, while being chosen by God to give birth to Jesus, was in no way a god. She sinned just like everyone else in the world (except Jesus). If you have any other questions, just let me know.

It means that a believe in Jesus Christ as
* the Son of God
* who died on the cross
* for the forgiveness of sins

is the only way to get to heaven. He was not just a prophet, but the promised Messiah. All other people after the New Testament claiming to be prophets (Mohammed, Joseph Smith, etc.) were false prophets teaching something other than the Gospel.
