As a non-believer I find it a very bemusing thing to say that just because I don't argree with someones beliefs, I should get ready for eternal damnation.
Don't get me wrong if there is a god and heaven I'll be very grateful for it. But just because I dont have your faith doesn't mean I should be hated for it.
By the way may I finally add that I have no problem with religious people, each to their own I say.

Christians claim to have their roots in Judaism (JudeoChristianity) yet Jews don't believe in eternal punishment except for the most evil of the evil, and even then it's "oblivion" and absence from God rather than eternal torment. Jews believe that all the righteous of the nations have a share in the world to come. To be righteous means to observe the 7 Noahide laws.

Isn't it curious that a religion that claims to have a God of love and mercy would threaten eternal torment to those who don't "believe?"

Christians say that, I know. There are many other religions that don't believe in Hell; they are also more tolerant of other's beliefs. They have their own beliefs, and they don't feel the need to impose them on everyone else. The Christians that feel the need to attack people with their beliefs are just frightened and insecure.

If that the case, dosent that mean that everyone but the atheists are going to hell? If Muslims dont believe in the Christian God, then they go to hell. If the Christians dont believe in the Muslim God, then they go to hell. Its the same with MOST other religions.
Atheist aree the only ones I see that are going to be left in the end

Not all religions believe that, for one thing. As far as some of us are concerned, there is no such thing as a "Hell" for those who do not believe the same as we do.

As a Wiccan, I believe that all religions can be valid paths to the Divine, and that if you are an atheist or agnostic, that is also a valid perspective on the mysteries of life and you will not be punished for it by our Gods.

When you mean "Christain", please say "Christian". To lump the rest of us in with them is ignorance on your part.

Do you know that we all are sinners ( swearing ,a bad thought , murder, disobedience , etc..) destine for punishment for our sins in a eternal lake of fire ? Through God's infinite mercy ,he paid the price on the cross for your sins , only if you come to trust and believe in him that he did and , accept him as your Lord and Savior. He is willing to give you a life preserver IF you are willing to grasp it .

To scare you into believing it. However, heavy metal makes hell sound like a really awesome place.

In the end only one Person determines who is obeying Him. I will defer to His judgment and trust Him to reveal Himself to all.
